Welcome to this fully stocked 2 bedroom apartment in Emporium, PA - home of the endless mountains. Sunsets are amazing and the viewing areas for elk are within 20 minutes. The kitchen has all of the basics you will need to prepare meals and of course - a fully stocked coffee station. The backyard boasts a fire pit and swing and bicycles are available for use. A weekend in elk country
Wanted to spend a weekend somewhere we'd never been. The apartment we stayed in offered the ability to be able to fix our own meals, sleep in comfort and be walking distance from a multi-flavor soft ice cream shop. We were from 2 hours away. Visited the Benezette Elk Center as well as some of the Elk viewing areas (though we didn't expect to see any, as it was the wrong time of day and season). We also took a short hike. The drive took close to an hour from the Hilltop Hideaway. Although we didn't realize it would be that long of a drive, the scenery was exquisite. We heard the area described as "Endless mountains". Beautiful!!! We're happy to have had the opportunity to visit this quaint town tucked in the middle of the mountains.

It has a cozy cabin feel. Nice size. Clean. Quiet. And was available in the area we were looking for a room. He host communicated quickly. We had a wonderful stay.

Quiet and comfy
We decided to make a last minute trip to the mountains to do some wheelin and picked this place to stay and we got more than what we could have expected clean and cosy and in a quiet area. Had Deer rabbits hanging out around the house that was awesome!

Okay in a pinch
The place was nice but the neighborhood directly behind were partying and at 9pm were blowing off fireworks and loud arguments that could be heard in the house
