The Postcard Velha, Goa

I write this review while sipping on my coffee and enjoying a bit of home-made cumin flavoured biscuits from Postcard Velha, which was packed with so much care. Postcard Velha stands more for experience than a hotel. You experience home, the staff become people you have daily conversations and laugh with and tend to you with the utmost care. Although the property had other families staying, the rooms are located in a way that you have your privacy. The rooms are beautifully designed and equipped with nostalgic elements. Every corner, you would see how much care and attention went into things. We would like to thank the staff again, for their care and love that really touched our hearts, and made the trip extra special. Postcard Velha is the place to be, on rainy Goan days, or otherwise... it got us the peace we need and memories we will carry on forever.

Perfect stay and welcome. Excellent service and food. Intimate setting to come at ease and peace. The hotel manger was really friendly and apneas the chef and other personnel. Will definitely return. What stood out especially was the Bilky Hu coffee from India.

The Postcard is one of the best stays I've had personally on vacation. The location is a bit remote from the hustle bustle of Panjim/Dona Paula but it's well worth it because you feel like you are in a 'special' place. The staff is wonderful and caring and take note of your personal preferences as you stay with them. Be it their chai, or prompt service, attention to detail - we were charmed by Devansh and his able team. The food is fresh and tasty. And the best part? No check in and check out times, taking off the pressure of leaving in the morning in case you have a late flight like we did. The property itself is beautiful and so are the rooms. The Tv room was also accessible and well equipped when we decided to take a night in. All in all, a great experience and a game-changer in the travel industry.

Tucked away in a quaint location, this Postcard property promises you days of complete bliss. After having experienced the heart-winning hospitality of the Postcard team once, we wanted to treat ourselves again for the special occasion of our anniversary, and let me tell you, every penny spent here is completely worth it because you really are treated like royalty. The staff is always around when you need them but never intrusive. They will go above and beyond to fulfil your requests and they’ll do it all with a smile. The doors don’t need to be locked, the mind doesn’t need to be on an overdrive and your doesn’t need to be overstimulated because everything you want and need is just one call away. You’ll feel like it’s your own house where all you need to do is relax and unwind with the beautiful view of the Mandovi river, humming to the songs of the birds, sipping on your favourite drink. The cherry on top is their spa treatments that will take away all of your soreness and leave you feeling like ten years younger than when you walked it. If you are planning to visit this property then I would surely advise you to not plan any thing in advance and just go enjoy the property at the fullest. Properties like these deserve all your attention and give you so much to go back with. Enjoy your anytime breakfast, check-out at your own comfort and pamper yourself with their lovely spa choices. This is how life should be lived at a time where time has become a luxury. My heartfelt thanks to The Postcard team for showing us the best time. We cannot wait to explore more properties by them!

I had a wonderful few days at this property. This is my first time staying at the Postcard chain and I love their approach to hospitality. The experience felt like staying in a grand home amidst peaceful surroundings. The rooms were fantastic. The food was fresh, local, and made to order each time. I have to thank the manager Mr Devansh and his excellent and genial colleagues Ritvik, Nishu, Hardik, who made my stay very pleasant (these are the people who I interacted with most frequently but everyone was excellent - also apologies if I got any of these names wrong. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking to unwind.

Here, one will enjoy Goa as well as experience the serenity of South india. At Postcard vella one will have the feeling of being in the midst of lush green forest ***** with an excess to the happening world of Goa. Even kids will enjoy being here spending hours at pool and playing games. An early morning walk, enjoying the breathtaking views, moistness of grass and listening to the melodious chirping of birds here, there are not many places left to enjoy all this what we get at velha. We also have been there at Postcard Saligao which was again a mesmerizing experience. I must say the Postcard staff is very friendly and amazing. They leave no stones unturned to make us feel at home.
