A perfect location! A very good Greec breakfast. Big room with a perfect terras ... Every evening a beautiful sunset. Friendly staff and the owner was the perfect host with a lot of tips , info and always friendly ! A small quiet beach next to the hotel.

A Beautiful Seaside Hotel If you're looking for a peaceful and serene getaway, this small hotel nestled right by the Mediterranean Sea is an absolute gem. Located on a stunning cliff, the views are nothing short of breathtaking. From the terrace of our room, we were greeted by an endless panorama of shimmering turquoise waters, which became even more magical at sunset. Watching the sun dip into the horizon while the sky turned vibrant shades of pink and orange was unforgettable. As night falls, the hotel offers another kind of beauty – a spectacular starry sky. On clear nights, you can even catch glimpses of shooting stars. The gentle sound of the waves lapping against the shore creates the perfect lullaby, making it easy to drift into a peaceful sleep. This place truly feels like a hidden sanctuary, where nature's beauty takes center stage. The tranquility, combined with the stunning location, makes it a perfect escape for anyone seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

Really excellent place to stay and as mentioned by other reviewers, Grigoris was the perfect host. He was extremely friendly and helpful - a real professional. He gave very useful information about local places of interest. The hotel is a great base for exploring the area. There is plenty of parking at the hotel, comfortable rooms with a balcony right over the sea. Next to the hotel there is a small beach with umbrellas and a bar/restaurant. The small town is a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast is superb with freshly squeezed orange juice and a range of homemade and local produce. It is served on the beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. This is a great hotel run by a true professional.

Best welcome in Greece, plane and familiar accommodation, clean. Spacious room with a balcony on the waves of the sea, a bit outdated furniture. Super breakfast with local and handmade products. Direct access to the beach. Value for money can be improved by 10% minimum

The hospitality at the Elea Mare far exceeded all of our expectations. The owner could not do enough for his guests. This hotel is a hidden gem and I can’t recommend it enough. The views are magical and the sunset view from the hotel is unbelievable.

We were at this hotel for the second time! We chose it again with great pleasure! Very comfortable hotel, off the beaten track, but close to a town with taverns and shops. Hotel directly on the seafront. Very nice service. Very delicious breakfasts with local products (orange juice yum yum). Rooms large, clean. Bathroom clean, always hot water. Large towels, clean bed linen and towels. Close to the sandy beach. A good starting point for exploring the Laconia region. We highly recommend it!!

Elea is a hidden jewel, surrounded by crystal clear blue water. The hotel sits above the waves and the tranquil sound "woosh, booff" punctuates the serenity and calm. A cool sea breeze freshens the room. A wonderful balcony provides a perfect vista. Watching the stars at night is a must! Grigoris is a wonderful host, attentive and charming and generous with his knowledge of the area, it's history and local delicacies. A lovely breakfast is served daily comprising home made delights. The scrambled eggs with tomato a favourite. This unlocked memories of similar recipes growing up served by our parents. The delightful honey and the beautiful orange cake and marmalade, lovingly made by Grigoris 'family. What is it about these oranges, the delicate fragrance and their sweet punch of flavour? Opportunities for travel are boundless for our generation but it is a rare privilege to discover the nature and personality of a place. Our breakfast was quite eclectic and proudly greek. With a full belly we walk a narrow path from the hotel down to a cafe that serves drinks and snacks by the sea. Park yourself on a lounge chair and enjoy those sumptuous waters. Elea is a jewel, close to Monemvasia and Elafonisso. Elea Mare provides a truly charming experience of the very best of Greece. Elea is a beautiful town,

Our stay at Elea Mare was an excellent experience. The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning sea views. Our room was very comfortable and super clean, and the breakfast was delicious with everything locally sourced and made. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and gave us lots of tips on the area that made our stay extra special. Highly recommend it!

We had and amazing stay at Elea Mare. Grigoris was one of the best hosts we ever had. The breakfast was full of very tasty traditional specialities with a wonderful view on the sea. The room was very clean and everyone was very friendly. It's only a 3 minutes walk to the beach (also very beautiful and sandy). Grigoris gave us advices for hiking trails, sightseeing, beautiful beaches (e.g. in Plytra nearby) and wonderful taverns. We hope to come back soon and while waiting we enjoy the best orange jam in the world (homemade, of course).
