Once we got here we were waiting a while whilst the receptionist spoke to her friend, this happened a couple of times. We checked in, got to our room and found the door wedged open with dirty linen and rubbish bags. The worker fixed this as soon as I let them know, however it wasn’t very nice or safe to see our room open. There were 3 plugs in the room on the other side to the beds which wasn’t great. We paid for no window, and got a window with a lovely view which was nice, however the free wifi advertised didn’t reach our room which wasn’t great.
After the first night we got back and found our window handle had fallen off, and wouldn’t close. This meant we could hear outside very well, and the cold was getting in. We told reception who said someone would be in to fix it the next morning, however they weren’t and had to put up with this for the rest of trip.
Little disclaimer, check in’s at 4, you can check in early but it costs £10, and they don’t open the bar til 5 so not much to do if you’re waiting.
Last thing, there seemed to ALWAYS (no matter what time) be black bin bags full of rubbish, glasses on the floor, and dirty linen on floor.
