Bonnie Hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Bonnie! Check in/out was super easy; if you can operate an electronic keypad, you’re good! We had a Deluxe Double Suite (queen bed) which was spacious, nice decor, squeaky clean, and new! The kitchenette is a fantastic feature, with all new appliances including a cooktop (albeit we did not use, other than the coffee maker). Rooms are exactly as shown on the website. Getting to main attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, St Andrew’s Square, Royal Mile is an easy 15 minute walk, always felt safe. The Premier Inn and Voco are right next door if you’re needing a closeby restaurant, other wise coffee shops and restaurants are five minutes walk away. The tram is but a few steps away, and taxi services are very reasonable to and from the train station, cab fare approx 12 BPS. We did encounter an unusual odour in the washroom on day three, perhaps waste water related, our only complaint. Thank you for the biscuits to accompany the complimentary coffee and tea!!

I was looking forward to staying in a hotel with it's services and standards however on arrival this is a aparthotel. Whilst marketed as five star on platforms the bonnie hotel doesn't have the facilities or the service standards. My room on the top floor was noisy and was reliant on a small window for ventilation. When I asked for a room change or an alternative they were fully booked because of the fridge.

An exceptional stay at Bonnie Hotel’s King Suite! I was visiting Edinburgh for work, speaking at a major conference, and chose to bring my family along. I needed a place that would not only allow me to prepare professionally but also provide relaxation and comfort for my family. This suite did exactly that and much more. The suite was truly luxurious, beautifully designed, and instantly impressive. Upon entering, we were struck by the grandeur of not just one but three magnificent chandeliers, perfectly complementing the suite’s elegant decor. The huge windows filled the space with natural light and provided lovely city views, creating a perfect blend of grandeur and comfort. Every detail was carefully thought through: the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring I had restful sleep each night before my speeches. Having a fully-equipped kitchenette was incredibly helpful, allowing us to easily prepare quick meals and snacks—especially convenient with a teenager who seemed constantly hungry! The provided iron and ironing board ensured my clothes were always conference-ready, and my mornings were made brighter by the high-quality espresso from the in-room coffee machine. My family loved the luxurious touches and spacious feel, particularly appreciated the stylish interior. Thank you, Bonnie Hotel, for making my business trip feel like a relaxing family retreat. Highly recommended for anyone seeking elegance, convenience, and comfort all in one.

We stayed as a family of four in the King Suite and had a fantastic experience. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with excellent facilities that made our stay enjoyable. The hotel's location is superb, and the self check-in system was incredibly easy to use. Everything was clean and finished to a high standard, reflecting the fact that the hotel is new. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. We would be happy to stay here again—highly recommended!

Einfach wow) Super gemütlich, sauber und man merkt, dass hier wirklich auf die Gäste geachtet wird. Alles war so komfortabel, dass ich gar nicht abreisen wollte. Die Atmosphäre wie zu Hause, nur noch besser 😊 Vielen Dank für die Herzlichkeit und Liebe zum Detail. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder ☺️
