Sunset Beach Lake House is our family-owned piece of paradise located in Birchwood, WI. Wanting to share our love for the lake and this home with everyone when we are not able to be there. The house is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, and with an open concept kitchen, living room that overlooks spectacular views of the lake. Sit in the heated 3 seasoned room that overlooks the lake and enjoy the morning wildlife and wonderful sunset views.Enjoy the cemented walkway to the private dock on the lake, where you can dock your boat. Lake Chetac is connected to Birch Lake and together they are about 2400 acres. Lake Chetac is known for its excellent bass and bluegill fishing. Snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails are in close proximity. We are on the ATV, UTV, and Snowmobile Trails (Stoney Hill Road/Trail 31S) and only a few miles from boat landings to access Little Birch, Big Birch, and Big Chetac Lakes. Just a short walk to the Birchwood American Legion open to the public and a couple miles to Birchwood with a c afe, Coffee/Bakery Shop, Several Bar and Grills, Northwood Lift and Dock with bait and tackle, convenience stores/fuel, a Dollar Store, Doolittle Park/Public beach, and many places of interest. This Getaway is close to the Blue Hills Recreation area, the Murphy Flowage and the Ice Age Hiking Trails. Many golf courses close by including Tagalong, Turtleback, and Butternut. Birchwood and the surrounding area has many things to offer. Hayward is only 25 miles away.Our cozy home is all one level with a front porch and back patio. It offers a large open area floor plan kitchen, living room and dining area. There are two spacious bedrooms and one large bathroom. Woodland surrounds the property with abundant wildlife.There is a two night minimum and a three night minimum on holiday weekends. Extra person charges may apply and vary depending on property policy. You are responsible for any damage to the property or party causing damage or loud noise. Welcome to the Northwoods! Our very clean, newly updated vacation home overlooks the beautiful Big Lake Chetac, north of Birchwood the "Bluegill Capitol." Relax and enjoy the lake views, the surrounding natural beauty of the forest and our abundant wild life. Big Lake Chetac and Little Birch Lake (connected by a channel) are known for a variety of fish including walleye, northern pike, bass, perch, crappie and Bluegill. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full sized refrigerator, gas range/oven, microwave, dishes and silverware (toddler place settings and cups available), pots, pans, baking dishes, etc. Other equipment available is a blender, coffee maker (kcup or pot), food processor, toaster, crock pot, large roasting pans and an air fryer for your convenience. 4 burner Weber grill also available for use.The house is over 2,000 square feet to accommodate 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and 2 family rooms. 3 bedrooms featuring king size beds, 1 full bath with tub/shower (knotty pine walls and beautiful tiled shower), kitchen and family room are located on the first floor. There are sliding glass doors that open to the deck and a breathtaking view from the family room!On the lower level, you will find the 4th bedroom with 2 queen beds, a family room with plenty of space for gathering, playing games and/or ping pong, watching TV and enjoying lake views. The second bath is on this level as well and is recently remodeled. Sliding doors lead to the patio and then just a few steps down to the dock. Bring your own boat (plenty of room for trailer parking and lake access nearby) or fishing boats and pontoons available for rent from nearby resorts. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit for a relaxing lakeside campfire.Separate fish cleaning house complete with sink, counter/cleaning area and freezer (seasonal). Lake access in winter, UTV and snowmobile can ride directly onto the ice.
