Powder Mountain has been converted into a World Class Mountain Bike park during the summer. Riders come from the world over. On any given Sunday, you can take a Gondola ride to the top of Snow Basin for a 5 star brunch. The view is heavenly and the food is delicious. Or better yet, take a mountain bike to the top and coast all the way down. Throughout the summer months, Huntsville Square and Snow Basin both offer weekend music festivals. August brings the annual hot air balloon festival. This area is great for weddings, family reunions, and makes for a great getaway! During the WINTER Season... Enjoy downhill skiing, snow boarding, snowmobiling, and snow tubes at one of our many ski resorts, which include Powder Mountain, Snow Basin, and Nordic Valley. Skier Magazine calls Powder Mountain "The Best Snow on Earth" for its incredible powder, tractor tows, helicopter drops, and no lines! Powder Mtn also provides a shuttle service directly to Moose Hollow. Moose Hollow is a 5 minute drive to Nordic Valley, 10 minute drive to Powder Mountain, and a 20 min drive to Snow Basin, a world class resort, and location of the 2002 Winter Olympics.
