A great space and very reasonably priced when split among our large group. Very comfy beds & pillows, clean throughout and a big kitchen with many plates/pots/pans etc. 5 min bus ride from Eastbourne station and carpark was super handy. Would recommend for large groups eager for a weekend away.

Absolutely fantastic hostel! Very well kept, very clean.and beds are very comfy! There are bus stops outside hostel which goes to either Eastbourne or Brighton. Definitely would recommend staying here! Susan was very helpful., made us feel very welcome. A++++

The location is tops. The kitchen facilities are amazing. The hostel ambience is welcoming and reassuring. The beds are comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. Most of all, the staff obviously enjoy their job and are knowledgeable about the area. Our first visit to a YHA after a gap of 50 years made us realise what we had been missing.

What a great place to stay. The owner/keeper is just the best. She really goes all the way to make you feel welcome. She helps wherever she can. The hostel is ideally located . Close to cycling routes, the seven Sisters, the beach but also a bus stop away from the supermarket. Everything is clean and the kitchen well equipped.

Spent a restful night at the hostel with the family . Great base to explore the area. Very lovely and helpful staff during our visit. Grateful to staff for personal touch. Overall, great value for money . Look forward to my next stay!

21 of us from my local walking group came and stayed here for a long weekend away. Sue, the Manager was very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This is our first time to Eastbourne and will certainly not be our last, looking forward to returning here soon, so much more still to explore here, many thanks again Sue.

We stayed for two nights while we explored Eastbourne and the South Downs trail. We needed somewhere clean, family-friendly and dependable. Having stayed at other YHA's before, we happily booked at YHA Eastbourne and could not have been happier. The room was clean, the hosts friendly, and the location was great for what we wanted to do. We would happily stay again and can definitely recommend it to others. Craig.

Very friendly and peaceful surroundings. Great self catering facilities with a lovely big kitchen. The YHA is great value for money and is situated in a beautiful area up on the down. The Manageress is lovely and welcoming. I cannot fault it. I spent a wonderful 2 nights there. I will definitely go there again. In fact I wish I were back there now. Eastbourne is beautiful and you have lovely walks just at the door of the YHA. 15 minutes walk down to the town and 5 minutes on the bus. High up on a hill with the sea in the horizon.

Friendly helpful staff. This hostel does not have bar or food to buy on site this is a smaller hostel . Good self catering kitchen and dining area. Regular buses to take you into Eastbourne or a 20-30 mim walk
