We stayed here as a group of 20+ campers, after a week hiking at Cradle Mountain, before boarding the Spirit of Tasmania to Geelong (a ten minute walk from the caravan park). Hot showers in clean amenities blocks, a grassy spot to pitch our tents, intel on good, local pizza delivery, super affordable and friendly service. Couldn't ask for more than that!

We checked in here after coming off the Spirit of Tasmania day sailing. Arrived at the park at about 7.00, check in was very simple, lady in the office was very friendly. We had booked a one bedroom cabin, our host had turned the heating on for us, so was very welcoming. Our cabin was quite small but very comfortable. Bedding was very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. Towels were fluffy, there was not any toiletries provided. Tea, Coffee and milk was provided. This park is very easy to find after coming off the spirit, it is on the same side of the river. There is a supermarket just down the road that is open until 8.00pm, so you can call in there and get something to heat up for dinner, or over the other side of the river there is a lot of choices. All things considered it was a great option for our one night stay before heading off on the rest of our holiday.

So convenient when disembarking from the Spirit. Everything clean and tidy although a little dated. On arrival we were given a site that our van would not fit because there was a concrete drain right in the middle. We just went back to office and we’re swapped to another site no trouble. Not sure what we would have done if the park was full. Would recommend to family and friends and stay at again
