A small hotel with a hamam, clean, cosy rooms, a very good restaurant and very friendly staff who all speak some English. The vibe outside in the evening is very relaxed and we had a great time eating and sitting near the open doors, listening to live music on the hotel pavement whilst having our dinner and drinks. The food is of good value and quality.

Terribly hot place with staff who don’t care. This hotel looks great from the outside however when you look under the surface it has cracks beyond. We checked in and the receptionist was slight cold but we managed to check in. We did see the room which was hot and left the key in the room in error which in fact should have cooled down the room by the time we got back but didn’t. At 9.30pm we called reception to get a fan and was told it is impossible. And the room was fine according to a man who came up with the receptionist. Apparently the air con worked fine and it was not crap as I had said so we must have complained for no reason. Nice hotel congratulations to Donald in the restaurant who must be the best member of staff here as he was brilliant. However I am not impressed from there on.

My friend and I stayed here in October The weather was in the mid 20's, which was a lovely temperature. The hotel is very charming and I absolutely loved its character. From arrival to check out, all of the staff were just wonderful, this also extends to their restaurant, I can not say enough how great the staff are. When my friend took ill, they were fantastic and helped us at ease extend our booking. They showed kindness and sympathy. The hotel is in a great location, and you and you can walk to the amphitheatre, cafes, and bars from it. They also arranged for us to visit their sister hotel for a beach day (which is a stunning hotel) The taxi ride was about 25 minutes, and it was worth it, to speed time chilling on a lovely beach. I am vegan, and the staff were helpful in helping me modify dishes to make vegan. The hotel is in a very central location, which means you can hear the activity outside. However, we soon got used to this (we may have enjoyed cocktails), and it didn't bother us. If you are a light sleeper, then I would suggest, perhaps, ear plugs. I would recommend this hotel for its character, locating and just wonderful staff.

This hotel was fabulous, from check -in when they let us check in early through to check-out when they made us a breakfast takeaway for our early flight. I cannot rate this high enough. All staff were amazing and helpful, a special shout out to the waiting staff and housekeeping. The rooms were immaculate, spotlessly clean, and a good size with everything needed for our stay. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous with a huge amount of choice (a la carte) and whilst we do agree with some of the other comments regarding slow service this was the case in all of the restaurants we visited and so is more a general thing rather than being specific to this hotel (maybe we live life too fast in the UK!!!!). We ate in the restaurant in the evening a couple of times and the food was absolutely delicious, we also just had drinks and it was a pefect ambience to relax with great vibe. All in all, this was a wonderful introduction to Albania and we would definitely return to this hotel in a heartbeat.

I can confirm past comments, my room did not have air conditioning (despite that it was listed in the features). It was 28 degrees in the room and impossible to open the windows given the noise from the busy street down. It was an awful night and the receptionist said it's always been like this and people usually manage (what does this even mean ?) For this price, better go somewhere else honestly. There is no lift to bring the luggage to the 5th floor and no help is provided. I would totally expect this in a guest house or 3 star hotel. This hotel manages to make great pictures for Google Maps references, but forgets there are actual customers coming and lack attention to them.

On arriving after a 5 hr drive from Ksamil we were greeted with a receptionist we had to search for as no where to be found . She was unfriendly and un interested , Our room was hot and we asked for a fan . She brought up a strange guy in shorts and t shirt who we had no idea who he was who told us our room temperature was ok !!!! We had no help nothing . The receptionist was out drinking and smoking in the street whilst on duty The waiters in the restaurant were amazing and Donald who looked after us was exceptional. Unfortunately when we head back to the uk we will advice not to use this hotel as they made no effort at all to make our stay comfortable.

Loved our 5 day stay at the Epidamn. The hotel used to be the French embassy and its decor inside reflects this. The staff make this wonderful boutique hotel amazing. Everyone is super friendly, speaks great English, works super hard and will go the extra mile to help you out. The girls on reception often booked restaurants for us by calling them. Special shout out to the ladies that cleaned our room. Amazingly spotless and tidy. Thanks to Albi in the restaurant for looking after us at breakfasts, lunch and dinner. He was a true professional. He knew about drinks, the food, and worked so fast, efficient but with a personal touch. He wouldn’t be out of place in a 5* restaurant in London. Antonella for helping us park the car when we arrived jet lagged having been awake since 3am. She was very patient with us and was a great help. She also told another restaurant to give us a good table and they did! Also for getting our cases to the 5th floor upon arrival. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfasts are amazing. Especially the 2 eggs with avocados and sausages. Also the pancakes. Dinner / lunch was fantastic - we eat there a lot over the 5 days cause we loved it so much. Parking around the back is convenient.

After a very tasty dinner in Rest. Arthur in Dures, we went back to our Hotel rooms at 10 p.m. and we wanted to sleep. Dogs barking loud during the whole night. No way to sleep! And then, after midnight, car posers enjoyed themselves in driving the main road up and down during hours with their extremely loud engines. Good night dear guest!
