Good place to stay in Dundee.
I don't like giving negative reviews but I hope it helps both to the resort's management and fellow travelers. It looks like they've had a hard time keeping up with the place. The grounds were overgrown and appeared unkept. In one of the rooms we booked the toilet tank was off and they hadn't made note not to book the room. Our room, the hairdryer was missing and I had to go get one. On a postive note, the beds were very comfortable. If you are using the water park it'd be a nice place to stay as the rates were very reasonable (book directly with the hotel though, the park fee isn't included when booked through a 3rd party). The bar was fantastic! We had a blast there so that was fun. All in all about a 3.

Place was nice, just wish it said the park was not included with the stay. Drove a hour in a half to be driving home at 8:30. Tried to make the best of it with my kids by using the pool but there was atleast 20 kids in there so we only got about a hours worth of playing. Not mad at the place just an overall depressing trip with the kids.

When I went in my room the bathroom had a blob of hair on the wall. They did move me to another room in that room as I was laying in my bed there was a big beetle looking bug on the ceiling

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, and everything went smoothly. Would stay again.

If you need to stay here, it’s an option.
It was fine. Dated hotel attached to a water park. A little expensive for the quality. They didn’t service our room for the two days we were there which seems like something pretty standard to do during a stay. Room was okay. Didn’t offer breakfast. Front desk staff was not friendly. Bar staff was excellent and the cook made me something vegetarian. That was great.

Reservation did not include water park, it was impossible to get help from staff when you can find someone, in the water park it was very unsafe limited life guards, no rule enforcement, I’m surprised this water park is operating

I had planned a trip to this property on Easter weekend with 3 small kids. Upon checking the site the pool was closed on Sunday and that’s the whole reason we were going and they would refund. Very rude

At Splash Universe in Dundee, Michigan, a customer expressed deep dissatisfaction with the overall experience, particularly regarding the steep $50 per person fee for the waterpark. Despite not participating in the waterpark activities themselves, the customer was forced to pay this hefty fee simply to supervise their children. This fee, paired with the lack of flexibility in pricing, created a sense of frustration. The customer noted that the facilities, while large, were poorly maintained, with several areas appearing outdated and in need of repairs. Adding to the disappointment, the staff was reported to be unprofessional and indifferent, treating guests with a lack of courtesy and showing little effort in addressing concerns. The entire experience felt disorganized, with long waits and unclear communication, making the visit even more aggravating for families hoping to enjoy a relaxing day.
