Such a beautiful and unique stay. Checked into our beautiful room in the Montana Pullman Carriage, which was absolutely stunning. We relaxed in the lounge (after having lunch in the pub next door ) and enjoyed reading the history of the pullmans only to discover that 3 of the carriages came from near where we live. We had booked our dinner in the dining carriage Princesss Ena and what a fabulous experience that was with fantastic decor and wonderful food and service, almost like stepping into the Orient Express. The staff were amazing especially Kit who had only just started a few days before. The owner was so friendly and the lady who checked us in and served us breakfast was also brilliant. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice provided and we had a bonus of meeting And Peters with the GMTV film crew filming the daily competition. Can’t wait to return

We have been lucky enough to have stayed here twice and it's such a beautiful place to stay. The carriages are gorgeous, the location quiet and peaceful and there are lots of lovely walks nearby. Really comfortable beds, everything was spotlessly clean and dining on the Pullman carriage was a real treat, as was having breakfast in the beautiful old waiting room.

The old railway station hosted us for our mums birthday and it did not disappoint. Tasty and lovely presented food. A warm carriage with the weather getting colder and really friendly helpful staff. Couldn’t recommend enough!

My family organised a surprise afternoon birthday tea for me and whilst it was obviously a wonderful occasion the standard of service, food and ambience was absolutely first class. The service seamless and discreet, the food of a very high quality and my husband now wants to drink pots of tea at home as it was so delicious! I would highly recommend this unique dining experience as we were looked after beautifully, many thanks and see you again soon

We had the loveliest afternoon tea on a beautifully restored old train carriage, and it was honestly such a memorable treat. The setting itself felt so special – cosy, charming, and full of character. The food was delicious, the tea selection was great, and every detail was clearly thought through with care. It’s not every day you get to enjoy afternoon tea while sitting in a vintage carriage, and that made the whole experience feel genuinely unique. The staff were attentive and discreet, which made it even better. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something a bit different and absolutely delightful. A perfect way to spend an afternoon

What a lovely afternoon tea. The sandwiches were freshly made, the cakes were delicious and I had forgotten how much I enjoy tea from a pot. Highly recommended.

What a find…, and a superb piece of theatre. Well done.👍👍👏👏 We stayed the night and must say the rooms were excellent, our carriage was Flora 2. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, with tables set for two, but capable of being reset for larger parties or events. As for the food, the menu provided a broad selection of high quality meals for all tastes. It was great to see the head chef step into the restaurant room and discuss and engage about their experiences and career. The individual was warmly welcomed and lauded for the meals prepared and served. An excellent breakfast was served in the Waiting Room, with a cosy atmosphere and with welcoming open log fire. We will be booking a return ticket soon!
