Villa Anica Dubrovnik - Luxurious with a Sea View

We had an amazing stay at Villa Anica in Sept 24. The accommodation is in part of a traditional villa which is a short walk to the Dubrovnik city walls and cable car. The rooms are lovely with air conditioning and there is a terrace with amazing views where we had breakfast prepared by our lovely host Mimi. I would definitely recommend this a lovely place to stay if you want to visit Dubrovnik.

The property is absolutely beautiful, clean and well maintained and in the perfect location for access to the old town. Mima, our hostess was very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make our stay special. Cannot recommend highly enough :-)

Rarely do you stay somewhere that is genuinely wonderful. Villa Anica is. Lovely, clean, comfortable and well equipped rooms, a beautiful garden with views over the sea where you can enjoy a hearty and homemade breakfast (to die for). All this just a 10 minute walk from the Pile Gate. However, the crowning glory of the Villa is the hostess Meme. She makes you feel instantly welcome and relaxed, is helpful and has wealth of local knowledge. She is able to help you book excursions, advise on local foods and wines and I must say her cooking skills amazing. I can honestly say one of the best places I've stayed and could not recommend more highly

A stunning room, a large, fantastic (shared) patio with beautiful views to the sea. It's a quick walk into the old town, but a bit steep for coming back if you are not too mobile. The absolute jewel is Mimi, the hostess, a truly lovely lady. I urge you to let her do you a delicious breakfast at least twice instead of grabbing something from one of the kiosks or a restaurant. Try her homemade preserves - so yummy! (Mimi - thank you again for all your help, you were just wonderful :-) ) Dubrovnik was as stunning as expected but it is the most expensive place in Croatia (we toured the country during our honeymoon) so be prepared to spend a lot when you eat and drink out let alone on the souvenirs.

Recently stayed a week at the Villa Anica and would highly recommend. The location was great being near the old city, but the villa was a tranquil haven, with a beautiful terrace, view and hot tub. The room and en suite were well presented and very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and I slept better than I normally do on holiday. The host was very friendly and helpful and the extra touches of chocolates in the room made the stay even more special. We choose to have breakfast on five of the mornings and this was very good, always freshly prepared and substantial. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you

The accommodations at Villa Anica were very nice and also a great location and the host Mimi is very friendly and helpful. The only problem here is parking if you are arriving by or renting a car . Why other reviews mention free parking, there is no allocated parking while I was there only street parking which was impossible to find . We had to park in a nearby public parking garage which is very close but the cost was $70 usd for only 24 hrs. Most I have ever paid to park in my life.
