Scalini Palace

The location is excellent, easy to access and all the spots are within walking distance. The room with little kitchen which is great and cozy.

酒店有一個非常重要的問題：會突然沒有熱水！！！而且是毫無徵兆的，就突然沒有熱水了！ 1.入住當天下午洗澡，洗到一半沒有熱水！問前台，説等二十分鐘會來熱水！但是等了四十分鐘依然沒有！ 2.第二天早上第一個人洗完澡，又沒有熱水了！ 酒店衞生是沒問題的，前台服務也很熱情。

The staff at Scalini Palace were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - you’re given a choice of 4 menu’s which is then delivered to you on a tray in your room at the time of your choice. We went for pastry, yoghurt, granola and berries with orange juice and coffee. The room decor is modern, a good size and the bed was comfortable. The windows were great at keeping out the street noise - it’s located right in the centre of everything so can get noisy, particularly in the evening, but we weren’t disturbed at all! Everything was very clean too. Only negative would be that the shower ran out of hot water after a really short amount of time! One evening I was in there less than 10 minutes and then it was freezing. My poor husband had to have a freezing cold shower that evening.

We loved our rooom with all the exposed bricks. Very roomy and clean. We also really enjoyed the breakfast of an omelet and breakfast sandwich with cappuccinos. Hotel was very quiet. Only item was I wished I would have asked for a lower level. Climbing the steps can be hard the older you get.

The Scalini Palace is neither a hotel nor a palace. It is a selection of apartments. The location is fantastic perfect for exploring town and the two guys who staff the desk are lovely and very helpful. The room is not bad either BUT Do not have breakfast it is truly awful, not as depicted in the brochure: stale croissants, fresh fruit with yogurt came with frozen fruit you could have removed a filling on, carton warm orange juice, coffee undrinkable and lettuce within the toasted sandwich!! AND Do not expect any sleep for there is a night club on the first floor of the alley opposite so 5 foot away banging out trance music until 2am and underneath is a bar; not a cafe bar to sit and watch the world go by but a dark and dank drinkers bar whose occupants get slowly louder as early morning approaches. SO Al in all give it a miss

The location is excellent: steps from Stradun, minutes from the port and both gates. The staff is helpful, especially Allen? spelling. The room is functional but the balcony is small. Going up and down three flights of stairs was tiring at times. Earplugs are a must unless you're a sound sleeper since noise can be heard from the upstairs room as well as a nearby Irish pub, where partying goes into the morning hours. Overall, however, it was a good choice.

We spent a wonderful time at Scalini Palace. The hotel is clean and at the center of the Old City where everything happens. The front desk staff, Alan was very helpful, friendly, and very, very accommodating. The Uber driver dropped us off at the top of the hill from the hotel. Alan helped us bring down our very heavy luggages from the very steep staircase down from Buza Gate all the way down to the hotel and up to our well appointed room. We couldn’t have made it down to the hotel without risking injury if it wasn’t for Alan’s help. Alan is perhaps the best employee Scalini Palace has and a great guest relations staff for them!

If you're travelling to Dubrovnik and stairs aren't your nemesis you couldn't stay in a better hotel. Armin welcomed us with the biggest smile and made sure we felt at home from the first moment we arrived and he carried our bags up to the room which made life much easier. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for the stay, we were worried about street noise when we arrived although the window was open at the time and with it closed there wasn't a problem. The location is great, you're a couple of minutes walk from everything. The only issue could be the stairs you've got to deal with but that is the case with everything in Dubrovnik and should always be taken into account. When checking out if you've got to get your bags up any sort of Dubrovnik lane-ways I would recommend investing in one of the local luggage porter services.

My wife and I booked a room at the Scalini Palace back on 1st January! It proved an excellent choice. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite with Balcony for seven nights and were delighted that we did. Situated right in the heart of the Old Town, it is literally ten yards from the main street, Stradun. There are a host of restaurants, shops and bars within literally a stone's throw. The Old Port harbour is less than four minutes walk away and you can have a refreshing swim there, just around the corner from the Maritime Museum. It seems to be where the locals go! Also, many of the day trips leave from there also. Aside from its superb location, the Scalini Palace is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped, and we heard no noise from the street below. The air -conditioning works very well. Our room was on the third floor. The house-keeping staff clean the room every day, empty bins and supply fresh towels. There is a choice of four menus for breakfast and this can be delivered at any time of your choice. The guys on Reception are super friendly and helpful. You can ask their advice on anything. They arranged our taxis on arrival and on departure. We dealt mainly with Armin, I think, but everyone was a credit to the Scalini Palace. Our thanks to all! 10/10
