Staying on campus a few kilometres away from city centre. Definitely need to catch the bus into town as too far to walk. Reception was difficult to find but very helpful staff who came daily to clean rooms. Rooms were basic but clean and comfy beds. The university has a Londis and pub inside which was very handy and close 😊

Appalling, no blinds or curtains spoke to reception twice, eventually moved to another room few hours before having to leave for airport. If you know you have guests would you not check the room prior to renting out, one of the basics as a hotel.

Run, stay away from this awful mess. Lifts not working and we was on the top floor. No WiFi no air conditioning. The bathroom is a joke. Sticky what you think maybe carpets very old 70s wood shelf with free dust. A disgusting nightmare. A bin would be more appealing than this dump. Parking is not free and they will clamp even 1 min over.

Booked using *********** - it was not made clear that this was a 'shared apartment' style accomodation. Would not have booked had it clearly been stated that this was a private room in a shared living space. Did not feel safe, do not recommend if you are travelling alone. The pictures are extremely deceiving

I don't like to be too scathing, I should have read between the lines, Access to the rooms is almost like getting into Fort Knox, nothing really wrong with the room, on a positive note the shower was superb, coffee making facilities were in a kitchen down the hall, which nobody had informed us of, the nearest bus according to their own map is a 20 minute walk. We come down on Saturday morning enquired as to the whereabouts for coffee and breakfast, very nonchalantly told 'its Saturday, the restaurant is closed' no alternative offered not even an apology, I am sorry I would not recommend

During my study, I lived at the college park apartment. The accommodation is quite seren, peaceful and inspiring the mind. The accommodation suits education and reading. Location is easily accessible to major areas of the City. The staff are always helpful every time I called for help. I truly enjoyed my stay.

Based on room pictures and website description I expected a nice, no frills room. I experienced something very different. There was a cascade of bird poop on my window and after 4 days of asking/begging for something to be done, nothing was done. I was assured daily that the window would be cleaned. There also were large piles of dried bird poop on the window sill outside my room. I was awakened one night by the window shade falling down. On four of six days there was no hot water for showering. The room description advertises coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator in the room -- all of which are in a "so- called" lounge down the hall. All-.in-all a very bad experience

After having a long travel day to Dublin and being excited for our accommodations, we were extremely angry and disappointed with DCU rooms. There are multiple rooms that do not look like the pictures they post above and we were booked in one of them. When we came to the front desk with concerns of the condition as we saw mold and the bathroom looks nothing like the advertised picture, they told us it was student accommodations implying that we should have expected it. My friend and I are both university students and would never stay in a place like this. There was no temperature control in the room, you were sweating just standing there. We only lasted an hour and after the front desk assured us they would refund the entire 3 nights, they are now, 3 weeks later, still dodging our calls and refusing to give us a full refund. We are completely disappointed and disgusted.
