I attended a wedding here in November. It was a great experience. Not an easy place to get to and not a lot of higher end hotel options so keep that in mind or have a designated driver to get you back to Austin in one piece. The outdoor service site is very intimate and beautiful with the trees & shabby chic feel. The reception building that we were in was lively. High ceilings with wood beams and romantic lighting. Spacious for the 100 or so guests- you could fit a few more in but it wasn’t crowded. Wish the wedding table was raised to see them easier. Pretty drive into the camp too.

Nice getaway after the holidays. Pros - beautiful property, pool area and restaurant, comfortable Vista room, responsive staff. Short hike with an expansive view. 30 minutes from Hye and only a little further to Fredericksburg; also close to Hamilton Pool. Cons - restaurant has a very limited menu although the food was very good. Vista room is pier and beam construction and has a connecting door to the next room, so kids running around sound like elephants. Nice terrace but looks immediately onto your neighbor's terrace. Imagine the whole place would be quite noisy during busy seasons.

Not impressed. Overpriced venue with very little to offer. Very much wallpaper and knockoff antiques ....very little real luxury. There are much nicer resorts in the surrounding areas. I spoke to some of the staff, they are treated poorly by the Owners. Political signs for the Harris campaign all over the place. Don't go political.

Went for a rehearsal dinner and wedding. Truly, no other reason to visit here as it is in the middle of nowhere. There is no room service and the food is average at best. Restaurant and front desk service was beyond slow. Olivia at the front desk was unpleasant and down right rude with every interaction we had with her. The property is nice enough. Loved the chicken coop. The sheets are so scratchy you will think you have an allergy. The chapel was very sweet.

We had a rehearsal dinner here for 11 people. We used the small private house on the grounds right by the main restaurant. The evening was a huge success. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was unique, and the food was outstanding. Of our eleven people there, everyone agreed it was one of the best meals they'd ever had. And we had some real foodies in our group. It was such a wonderful experience, and I will be telling everyone I know about Tillie’s.

What a beautiful resort! The individual cabins were a perfect blend of luxury and a rustic Texas ranch house. As the organizer for my corporate event, Camp Lucy and Michaela made me look like a rock star. And the food at Tillie's was 5 star. We will be back soon.

Great experience for our family and group trip with friends! Will definitely be back abd highly recommend. The staff, accommodations, and environment were very comfortable and welcoming! Family friendly.

We had a Corporate retreat at Camp Lucy and my team loved every minute of the retreat and the property. The grounds, rooms and food were all spectacular. The service was excellent. Everyone said that they are coming back to Camp Lucy for personal travel.

Pros: front desk staff was very nice. Dishware/microwave/refrigerator in room are convenient. Place to fill water outside. Cons: mattress cover with urine spots. Stuff on wall. Bed is soft and kills your back. Attached restaurant is similarly overpriced/overrated. No spa or exercise room on property, none of which would be a big deal if they weren’t charging $400 a night. Nothing is included with that $400 except plastic water jugs one of which melted in the car. Save money and stay down the street
