Dorchester

No parking- had to lug bags from car park across the road. Arrived and check in slow and painful. Went to room and dirty, bits all over the carpet, complained, I was moved to another room. The staff member came with me and surprise surprise the same issue. They are doing renovations- how about maintaining and keeping current rooms clean! Paint work heavily marked, sofa stained - generally mucky and I paid £167 room only!

The hotel is in an excellent location, very convenient for the town centre and local restaurants, bars and entertainment. It is a good centre for exploring the area. Our room was large, comfortable and quiet, with an excellent en-suite. We had a great night's sleep. The secure underground car park accessible directly from the hotel was an added bonus. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location, staff and room all great. However we were very disappointed and inconvenienced by not being able to pay extra and have an early check-in despite having been assured the day before this would not be a problem. I had an engagement I needed to get ready for and it made what was supposed to be an enjoyable event much more stressful. We also had to ask for more towels because there were only enough for one guest.

We had booked an accessible room and were pleased to find a fully equipped wet room. The room was clean and bigger than I expected. My daughter and I were very comfortable. The staff were cheerful and very helpful. Overall cleanliness was excellent. The break fast was the only disappointment. I won’t be having the cooked option again, as it was cold and tired looking apart from the sausage. The cold food was perfectly fine.

Stayed as a stop over on the way to Cornwall. Was given a Premier Plus accessible room which we had not booked. The bed was very low and did not feel like the usual mattress. Only had one set of towels and had to go and get another. The bathroom was a wet room and once you had had a shower you couldn’t get to toilet without getting wet feet. The staff were very pleasant. The decor of the room was lovely and having a coffee machine was a plus. The parking was very good and secure, although difficult to find. Not value for money on this occasion. Might have been different if we had been given a standard room. We didn’t eat there.

I had a lovely stay at this Premier Inn, the staff were very friendly and very efficient. The room was very clean and had everything i needed for my stay. Charlotte and Hayley were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

Our second stay at this hotel and will definitely use it again. Staff were really friendly and hard working, giving a great welcome on arrival and always helpful. Rooms recently refurbished and are great. Spotlessly clean room as you would expect with Premier Inn. Breakfast in restaurant was really good, but felt short staffed and the team member on duty was working hard, but struggled to keep on top of keeping everything topped up and clearing tables etc. Like many in house restaurants, there never seems to be enough staff on duty, which you don't tend to get at the hotels with a branded restaurant. Restaurant was closed evenings at weekends when we stayed, but made the short trip to the Brewers Fayre in Weymouth in the evening. Definitely a great hotel and would use again next time in area.

Basics were good - beds, tv, hot water, quiet building, friendly staff, parking available. Not so good - no wifi, restaurant closed, understaffed, confusing building, no Bath, slightly crap TV

Exactly what we wanted and in the right place. My wife loved our stay there, slept well and would like to return to stay in this hotel again and to see more of Dorchester.
