Right from the off we were greeted by Gareth and he was he was enthusiastic and full of enthusiasm for our stay. He explained the room, breakfast process and also recommended certain walking routes for the Saturday. The room was set out with lovely decor and overlooking the gardens and woodland views. Gina was our host for breakfast and we could want for anything more on both mornings. Both hots were full of stories about the local community and always happy to help A really lovely addition was the downstairs lounge where you could sit and relax after a days walking in the hills. I would definitely recommend and we would stay again.

We stayed for 2 days and absolutely loved our break here. The House is in a beautiful setting and the attention to detail throughout our stay was second to none. Gina and Gareth made us extremely welcome, breakfast was excellent and we were within easy reach of everything that Snowdonia has to offer. A wonderful stay, thank you.

We stayed at Afon Rhaiadr for a weekend in November and honestly, wow. From the communication ahead of our arrival to our friendly farewell, we could not fault our visit. Having had to make some last minute changes of plans, I initially communicated with Gina ahead of time who was incredibly understanding, accommodating and flexible. Upon arrival, the location was simple to find and absolutely gorgeous. The room was lush and so clean and had everything that you could need for a weekend break. Breakfast was perfect, which is not always the case when, like me, you cannot eat gluten. There were ample options and dietary requirements were well understood and catered for. A very nice change! The surrounding area is remote, which is exactly what we were looking for. The grounds that the property is located on are just stunning and so peaceful. This is absolutely the place to come for a quiet, relaxing retreat. There are a few local pubs, restaurants etc. that you can drive to, or if you fancy a drink, taxi to. We had no issues getting a local taxi. I cannot thank the lovely Gina and Gareth enough for their hospitality and I will 100% be back again in the future.

Went on a weekend in November Most stunning house with the warmest hosts! We had such a peaceful weekend away close drives to really beautiful views but the room was 10/10 bed was super comfy and the room was beautiful will be returning again most certainly Karl & Jade

Just came back from 2 nights at afon rhaiadr , we had such an amazing and relaxing break. Gina and Gareth are so lovely and friendly, we were made to feel at home and they certainly did that . Gina was very helpful on information with the surrounding area and compliments to you Gareth for such a lovely tasty breakfast each morning .The room was lovely and cosy , bed was very comfy and the grounds were great to explore a real hidden gem thanks both for a lovely relaxing stay , sue and Paul x

We had the most wonderful weekend at Afon Rhaiadr Dolgellau Gina And Gareth were fabulous hosts the welcome we got was outstanding and we were made to feel very much at home our room was spotless warm and cosy and the breakfast and evening meal all home cooked to perfection was fabulous Thank you bot so must we will definitely return love Carol & Trevor x
