We have just returned for a 2 night stay at this lovely country house. Gina & Gareth were incredibly welcoming on our arrival and offered advice & maps if needed to explore the surrounding areas. Our room was lovely & cosy with beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was booked the day before which was a great as it came promptly for you in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for Gina & Gareth they are a lovely couple who make your stay that extra bit special. I'm sure we will return .

Beautiful house and room was fantastic with jacuzzi bath, lovely helpful owners who gave us tips on great places to walk, great breakfast, secure bike storage and extremely responsive to questions. We highly recommend and we will be back!

Right from the off we were greeted by Gareth and he was he was enthusiastic and full of enthusiasm for our stay. He explained the room, breakfast process and also recommended certain walking routes for the Saturday. The room was set out with lovely decor and overlooking the gardens and woodland views. Gina was our host for breakfast and we could want for anything more on both mornings. Both hots were full of stories about the local community and always happy to help A really lovely addition was the downstairs lounge where you could sit and relax after a days walking in the hills. I would definitely recommend and we would stay again.

What more can I say but great in every way. From the welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts, to the beautiful grounds and brilliant rooms. Rooms are clean and have everything you need, with very comfy beds and in our room a very good modern bathroom and shower. Breakfast was great and the hosts very helpful with any questions quests had of the area. I would 100% recommend this to any couple wanting a break away. My wife and I would like to thank the owners again for a great stay and hospitality.

I decided to visit this place due to it's excellent reviews...and they are justly deserved. The attention to detail in everything, and I mean everything, is amazing...from the detailed previsit information, the food and service, the bedrooms and decor...even down to a fridge on the landing with fresh milk, and little tube of washing up liquid and scrubber in the bedroom for washing the cups! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and highly recommend. Thankyou!

The bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in and the quilt was the most luxurious quilt and the pillows were so fluffy. If I’d wanted a weekend in bed this would have been perfect. Our room was lovely and very clean and it had everything in it that we needed. The spa bath was an added bonus which was great. The breakfast each morning was delicious and we had plenty to choose from. Gina and Gareth were lovely hosts, very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them and they were very knowledgeable about all the surrounding areas and where to go and what to do. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone it’s a beautiful place to stay and we will definitely come back.

We stayed for 5 nights in the Jasmine garden room which was perfect for us. The king size bed was very comfy and the rainfall shower was the best we’ve known. The gardens were beautiful for a wander even at this time of year. We would love to go back when it’s warm enough to make use of the lovely outdoor seating areas. We had the evening meal on 2 nights and the food was lovely. Gina’s cakes are delicious. Gina and Gareth cannot do enough for you and make you feel very welcome. We will definitely be back. The long journey was worth it without a doubt. Already planning our next trip.

we stayed at afon rhaiadr for two nights at begining of march, The lilac room which we stayed in was beautiful plenty of space and en suite the bed was very comfortable, the view from our window was stunning and could see the stream plenty of places to sit in the garden, more than enough for breakfast the english breakfast was plenty without having cereal. Nothing was to much trouble for gina and gareth they were the perfect hosts. will be recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you both for a very restful break.

Me and my fiancé stayed at Afron Rhaiadr house this weekend. There is simply just one word…. WOW!!! The house is simply stunning, we stayed in a fairly newer room in the garden. Best two nights sleep I have had in a while! Gina and Gareth are so friendly and very helpful. The have a lot of knowledge on the local area, if your stuck for things to do they are full of suggestions! Gareth makes a delicious breakfast too! We even had afternoon tea on our stay, I am still thinking of the amazing homemade scones and chocolate cake! You won’t be disappointed when staying with Gina and Gareth. We have come home so relaxed and refreshed. Thank you for having us!
