IXORA Hotel and Spa

It’s ok as it has a gym allowing under 18’s so my child could enjoy as well. The room was quite decent and clean. We enjoyed it very much though the price is a little bit high.

My wife and I have just spent a couple of nights at this hotel for a quick break. It is an ex Hilton hotel ,recently having changed hands and no doubt the new management will have ideas of their own in time but we had such a pleasant stay nonetheless. There are two things that make this hotel . Firstly the staff. I have NEVER stayed anywhere with such pleasant and helpful employees. All had a genuine smile on their faces . Beth on reception, our waiter Brad, the head chef Alex to name but a few epitomised exemplary service. They were all too happy to provide us with advice on how best to spend our time away from the hotel. Secondly, the food. Just superb - the duo of beef bourginon was a dish to behold and Alex took time out from the kitchen to come and chat to us . The spa is great. There is a charge to use it but we found it well worth it and a great way of spending a relaxing couple of hours. Yes, the hotel is unmistakenly corporate and the outward appearance could perhaps be better but don’t let that put you off. The rooms are very comfortable and we would return in a flash.
