Sentido Djerba Beach

A honest review is a very average 3 to 4 star hotel on the most beutiful beach imaginable .the food is quite average as you get on a buffet anywhere Fresh orange juice at breakfast is definitely a plus point and the beach terrace to eat and drink .. loved that ..The rooms are fine.. outside pool is freezing cold in may ..not sure why they don't heat it ..staff are not the friendliest I've ever seen but ok..no entertainment atall .only football on tv for mostly French and German..quite disappointing holiday considering the price paid but the beach is definitely the best feature .

We were a couple staying for 4 nights. A few small issues that if the hotel could resolve would make this place very nice. First the double beds are actually made as 2 singles stuck together with 2 single duvets. This was uncomfortable sleeping, always a gap in the middle! Second the room had no tea or coffee or water (water only on arrival). If you are full board then it would be nice to have water available for free during meals not just for breakfast. There was no water or AC in the gym. We went in winter so AC was off, this wasn't a problem, only in the gym they should have some fans or something to help cool down in the gym. Other than that, we thought the room had beautiful views, we were on top floor facing the large pool and gardens. It was a lovely hotel, lots of sunbeds, clean and tidy all the time, gardens very pretty and pools everywhere. Everything looked really nice, seating available everywhere. Staff spoke little English but Ismail Rekez was really nice, always seeking to help us at breakfast. No other waiter asked us if we needed tea/coffee at breakfast, they were all busy but Ismail would see us and help bring tea, milk and always smiled and made us feel welcome. The food was ok, there was always fresh grilled fish which we loved, and a massive selection of desserts. Some of the meats were overcooked and flavours a bit bland but buffet was always overstocked and lots of food to select all the time. I would come back the Djerba, it is a quiet place to rest and beach near Santido was lovely, soft and white and clean around the resort. We really enjoyed our few days here, a very pleasant stay.
