Superb food. Excellent service from knowledgeable staff, who were rushed off their feet but still attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Pricey but well worth it. Superb dinner here. Hope to visit again - and will stay in the hotel rooms next time.

Only stayed for one night (room9). Friendly staff and atmosphere, room was on the smaller size, but beautiful and also very quiet. It was a Saturday night and extremely busy but the staff still has a smile on their faces the service and food was exemplary. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

A lovely pub/hotel in Somerset . The rooms are so comfortable and well appointed, a nice touch of fresh milk and cookies. Dinner & breakfast was super . The staff were so accommodating and helpful . We would thoroughly recommend booking here if you are in the area.

Stayed for 2 nights during Cheltenham week - an amazing renovation/refurbishment to a fabulous character building. Great staff, fabulous service and a classy menu and wine list - choices are difficult to make. If you’re in the area or en route to somewhere then stay there. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back for sure. Thankyou to all of the staff we had the pleasure of meeting.

Our whole experience, from start to finish was fantastic. We were welcomed by GM Ed, who was brilliant, in fact the whole team were attentive, kind and all such wonderful personalities (this made the stay 10/10). We stayed in Room 3 – which was beautifully decorated. The attention to detail was impeccable, including all the extra amenities you often forget when staying away. The bed was like a cloud, super comfortable. We loved the aesthetic, cosy but well-designed. We had dinner in evening and was recommended a great cocktail to start & a beautiful wine pairing with our main course. The food was exceptional, all beautifully presented and perfectly prepared. A truly wonderful stay. 10/10!

Everything about my stay was perfect. Friendly, easy parking, excellent food, very comfortable room. I would definitely go back and hope to have a reason to in the future. I was pleasantly surprised when I was upgraded to a more luxurious room.

We were made to feel so welcome, special thanks to Emily and Reen. Our room was so comfortable and spotlessly clean, fantastic shower and such a comfy bed. The pub had a brilliant atmosphere and a great selection of drinks. The menu was extensive and hard to chose from! The food was outstanding, as were the breakfasts. We had a brilliant time here and can't wait to return. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Excellent lunch in the totally refurbished 'Manor. Really good flavours. My pork ribeye with ratte potatoes and punterella was well proportioned and well balanced. Slight niggle- it could have been warmer. My wife's vegetarian dish - roasted squash, goat's cheese and pangrettato was equally as good (could have been warmer. The hospitality is very well handled and we will be back. I'll leave the world to discuss discretionary 12.5% service charges??? Prices reflect the quality of food.

I stayed for three nights. From the moment I arrived, everyone was really friendly and relaxed. Comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom. Good atmosphere in the bar. The dinners were very good indeed. Particularly good were the red mullet, lamb breast. The wine list was well-chosen. The staff were knowledgeable. Everything great!
