Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures - Historic District

Charming boutique hotel close to restaurants and the historic district! Hernan is a wonderful host providing us with information on local experiences, restaurants and tours. He even booked airport transportation for us and acted as a tour guide for a trip to Mindo! He is most welcoming and made us feel like we were part of the family. Blanca made a delicious breakfast each morning. Rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds and amenities. Our stay at Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures felt like a home away from home. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Quito and especially to those who want to have a more local experience!

My stay was short but memorable. Perfect location, walking distance to the old City and main town square. I stayed 3 nights from January 9-11. Hernan was the perfect host. Very knowledgeable about his country of Ecuador. I roamed about the old city mostly and a day trip to Cotopaxi. Hernan gave me great tips on where to visit and dine and he was on spot. Ecuatreasures, where I stayed was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat, a taste of Ecuador. Thank you Hernan & Blanca who served me breakfast my 2nd day there. Overall a wonderful and unique Hotel I recommend highly.

Beautiful boutique Hotel with wonderful host in the perfect location. Personal service with restaurant recommendations, dinner booking made on our behalf and assistance with sightseeing options. Laundry located next door, dropped off our washing and returned 4 hours later at a cost of US$6.

This is a lovely place in a great location, in walking distance of Plazas Grande and San Francisco, and all the richness of Old Town. Hernán is a most gracious host, and the breakfasts were especially good. It's unusually quiet for the area, as well.

Had a wonderful weekend at Ecuatreasures. Hernan is a great host. His communication is the best, always reaching and offering help and suggestions. We also took a 1-day tour with him to see some very interesting sites. He will customize them to your desires or make suggestions on places to visit. The morning breakfast was very good local cuisine with arepas one day abd humitas the next as well as scrambled eggs, fresh juice like blackberry (mora) and Maracuya (Passion fruit). And of course, the coffee was terrific. The rooms are small as expected, we stayed in Fire. Very clean and nicely setup. The room window does face the east so it can get warm in the morning. One note, due to the old plumbing, as this is an historic building, it is suggested to not flush your TP but put in the waste basket. Not as bad as you would think, we had no issues doing that. Beats a clogged toilet

The Casa Ecuatreasures is a lovely place. It's situated in a great location, easy walking distance of the highlights of the Centro Histórico, but remarkably quiet, both inside and outside, even so. Hernán is a most gracious host, and the breakfasts were especially good. We also appreciated the commitment to sustainability details.
