We booked this hotel last minute and I’m glad we ignored the negative reviews. The receptionist Rose made all the difference to our positive experience. Firstly, it is not easy to see how to get into the indoor railway parking, however she really helped and we managed to park ok. They have a deal and you get 50% of. 13 euro for 2 nights parking. Rose gave me the option of 2 available rooms, this in my opinion is excellent CS. Our room, 308, was very spacious and had big opening windows facing the train station. We were high enough not to be bothered by the noise. Nice room, basic but clean with a fridge. The safe was not working though, think it needs batteries. Rose gave his great information on the town and areas to visit. You can also use the spa in the sister hotel around the corner. It was a bit basic and not a spa you would hang around in. Functional rather than luxurious. The overall hotel is typical of a basic 3* but clean, spacious and good value for money
