Prive Hotel Didim

3+ max, definitely not ultra lux We really dont understand why this hotel has such a high rating. This is a 3+ star hotel at the most. Language gap influenced our stay: We were some of the only English guest here although the hotel was full. This made every single aspect of the holiday difficult. We went with Jet2. Staff would use translator apps to talk to is but sometimes even with that it was hard to communicate. Predominantly fully booked with mostly (98%) Turkish guest, which may mean it may be a good local find, but it also meant it was okay to smoke in all outside spaces include all the outside seating for the eating hall. We have stayed in another resort in Turkey and smoking was not an issue. Here guest smoked everywhere, beach, bar etc. This hotel claims to be 4+ but this and other issues such as spa (discussed later) means it is not more than 3+ at the most. Many guest complained about how this hotel was mis-sold by the media and other companies such as Jet2. The spa: The Jet2 guest liason said the spa is external and should not deduct from the hotel. The spa forms part of the hotel and I cant agree with the liason. Again, the other resort we stayed in also had a spa which was seen as part of the perks for a 4 star hotel, and their spa was beautiful. This hotel's spa was so, so dingy, dirty and dated. We avoided the shower / locker areas as they were shocking. Old shower curtains, blocked drains, dirty shower areas and they still use moth balls in the sinks! See pics, but I dont think eve the pics can describe how dingy it was. It was also very slippy due to marble everywhere. This is an issue all over the hotel and managment needs to address this. The sauna was not working while we were there and no effort was made to fix it in the 7 days we were there. The sauna was new, but the benches were small and narrow. Bit at least this bit was clean. At the ither resort, we used the spa often and had a few treatments. Here, no one could pay me enough to get a treatment. This area needs a complete overhaul by someone who understands luxury, cleanliness and safety. The other big issue here was flies. Flies on the food did not seem to bother the other guests or staff. Again, this was not a problem at the other resort, so why was this here. Again, the flies, smoking and dingy spa is not the standard of a 4 star hotel. The hotel is also in the middle of nowhere so it means you need to rent a taxi to go anywhere. Vehicles may not have seat belts for bigger groups. There are no charging stations other than in the front lobby of the hotel. This means when you wait for a late transfer, no way to top up your phone. This should be an important upsate for a hotel that aims to be even a littleon the luxury side, as it has very far to go. Only two usb ports per room. If you ask for a menu, staff will just point you to online app or give a qr code to scan. This means often we were not sure what was included as part of our deal. There ar

Nothing was too much of an ask, the staff were so accommodating and friendly. The whole area was kept very clean, staff constantly on the look out for anything that needed cleaning up. Food was incredible, I wish I could take home a chef! The dining room staff were fantastic, always making sure you're happy, offering suggestions and even some recipes. The animation team were excellent - especially David and Arry from greeting the whole hotel in a morning, looking after lone guests, organising activities throughout the day to getting involved in evening entertainment and ensuring everyone was happy. The spa was wonderful, I can't recommend their turkish bath, salt scrub and massage enough! The housekeeping staff were thorough yet quickly in and out so not to disturb you. Even in off peak season this hotel was amazing, I would highly recommend this place to everyone! I have never felt this relaxed and refreshed after a holiday before.

Wonderful place for a family vacation. Food was great. Entertainment team was great. Looked after us and the kids all day!

Last year, October 2 to October 9, 2024, my Husband and I chose Prive Didim Hotel to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary and this was our first experience at this resort hotel. It was a very good experience for us and everything was great and we really had a memorable week at this hotel. Everything was great at this hotel and what a resort hotel should have was in Prive Hotel Didim. The view from our room was really great and like a painting that I loved to sit on the balcony for hours and look at that view and the sea. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff came every day to clean and change the sheets. Breakfast was prepared in both Turkish and international style. The chef prepared fresh omelettes every day to suit every taste that the guests wanted with pleasure. Every day, there were many types of freshly baked breads and various cheeses and olives, all of good quality. Lunch was prepared with various and very delicious dishes for every taste, different every day. The dinner was excellent and very tasty and suitable for dinner, and we had a grill and barbecue outside the restaurant every night, which was really exciting and very tasty. In addition, the restaurant's food was not repetitive, both lunch and dinner, and was varied, and they had all kinds of desserts, cakes, and very tasty puddings. The hotel's garden area was very beautiful, with excellent flower arrangements and atmosphere, and it was always clean. A buffet near the pool and beach had light and very tasty food. And a bar by the pool and beach was ready to serve excellent drinks all day long. There was an Italian and seafood restaurant in the hotel's garden area that we booked for one night, and the restaurant staff welcomed us well, and the appetizers, main courses, desserts, and excellent drinks in the garden area were very enjoyable, and we left a very good memory. One of the positive points of this hotel was the proximity of the hotel's large pool to the beach, which I have never seen in any hotel where the pool and the beach are so close. The hotel pool was large and clean and there were enough beds around the pool. The hotel beach was very clean and wide and the water was very clean and great and enjoyable and there were enough beds and umbrellas. My Husband and I had a great and memorable week at this hotel. We are very happy that we will be staying at this hotel again this year from October 2nd to October 9th for our 46th wedding anniversary and we are very happy. In addition, the hotel staff was very kind and polite and hospitable. The hotel managers are monitoring and visiting the hotel 24 hours a day to make sure that all the guests are happy. Last year my wife and I spent our 45th wedding anniversary at this hotel for a week. We had really great and unforgettable days and nights. I want to say that everything you need on a holiday is in this hotel. Real relaxation, nice and clean room, wonderful service, delicious and varied food, great pool, private beach and very close, kind staff and especially great management. We have been waiting since last year to come back to this hotel and celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary at this hotel again. I hope and am sure that this October we will have a great and memorable trip like last year. I really appreciate and thank the management and all the hotel staff.

The food was very good. The atmosphere was friendly. Entertainment always good like fire show. I very recommend this hotel and people. We come back again.
