Ocean Village Club (Adults Only)

A beautiful luxurious oasis that is a perfect place to relax, enjoy gorgeous food and be by the white sands of Diani Beach. I fell in love with this place after a 7 days of safari, a few days in nairobi, we wanted a place to relax before we headed home. The rooms are luxurious,spacious, well thought out and very high end .. being able to sit out on he veranda, with the surf, birds and monkeys in the background is heavenly. The grounds are beautifully laid out and works with the surrounding nature. The team here are wonderful and want to ensure you have a magical stay. Location is perfect as you are on the beach and the view is stunning! I could not highly recommend this resort as a place to follow your cup of goodness! I have visited this establishment countless times and it never disappoints. The rooms are immaculate, very comfortable with high quality linens and towels. The toiletries are top notch. The rooms have a refrigerator and guests are provided with a bottle of sparkling wine. I always stay in A block, as you’re able to see the ocean and most of the property. The grounds are lush and very well manicured. The staff are also amazing, including the manager Ahmed, Fatima and team from the front desk, Mr. Cloud, Muhammad, Anna, and the team of outstanding wait staff in the restaurant, and the very lovely staff on the beach (Osman and team). I am vegan, and the staff takes great care of my dietary needs. This end of Diani has the prettiest stretch of beach, with minimal coral or rocks. It’s quiet too, without a lot of activity or noise. It’s an 18 years and above property, and definitely has an adult vibe. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the baboons; this end of Diani beach is closer to the forest so you will see baboons on the property. The staff is always gracious enough to escort you around the property if this is a concern. My only issue is that the resort closes during the low / rainy season (late April / May). Otherwise this is one my favorites in Diani, I will definitely return. All the best from Kisumu ☺️

A perfect stay with very attentive and kind staff, a spacious and cool room, and beautiful beachfront. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Diani! The food was also very good and a good range of options. The seafood in particular was always delicious and very fresh.

As soon as you drive through the large gates at this hotel you feel your stepping into an oasis of luxury. Nice greeting with Arabic coffee and hot scented towels makes your registration a relaxing experience. The rooms are dotted throughout the grounds and look like large pods. They are nicely appointed and all seem to have a large balcony with comfortable large reclining chairs. The room is very attractive but we did find the bathroom very hot and you had no hooks in the bathroom to hang your robes which was a shame. The room also has a decent size wardrobe but again it lacks draws. The pool is delightful and the beach gardens are lovely and very restful. The restaurant was very nice and we ate every evening in the garden by the beach which was lovely. The staff here are all so welcoming and happy to serve you. The food was very good but the restaurant chairs were very uncomfortable, we would rush our meal and never ordered wine because they were so hard to sit for too long. The bar was positioned by the pool with very nice comfortable chairs and we enjoyed drinking the excellent cocktails made by Cloud. Our room was always immaculate and a big thank you to Christiana, nothing was too much trouble she was a real gem. Mwanarusi, was very good at her job, always smiling and offering good service, as was Johnson. As I said too many staff to mention by name but all deserving of praise including Hamisi who alsways spoke to us and made sure we were comfortable. It was also lovely to see the hotel Manager Ahmed checking on his guests at dinner time. The only thing I would say if you have a bad back, the beds were hard and only one comfortable chair in the room to sit on which was a shame. The staff however did everything possible to make us comfortable. We had a lovely week in The Ocean Village Club, the beach is stunning and Diani has a real beach vibe. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This is the fourth hotel we've stayed in at Diani Beach, of its price range, and was the best experience across every category. For anyone wanting hotel peace and quiet, quality and excellent service, this is it. All of the staff, whatever their job, are friendly, helpful and efficient. The management discourages tips as it favours the front-of-house at the expense of those working behind the scenes. Instead the management operates a bonus scheme for all its staff, based on customer reviews. This not only adds to customer relaxation throughout the stay, but is a fairer way of doing things. We fully supported management's dress code policy of elegant dining.

Even in its simplicity, it stands out among many newer establishments. I was especially touched by the attention to detail. The hotel staff had noticed that I celebrated my birthday the day before we arrived, and to my surprise, they greeted me with a beautiful cake and a thoughtful celebration. The cake itself was absolutely delicious—such a delightful surprise! While I’d love to mention each individual by name, with over 100 dedicated staff members, I want to ensure everyone receives recognition. So, I’ve broken it down by departments: Bar & Restaurant: Always attentive, friendly, and professional. Kitchen: Exceptional food that always exceeded expectations. Guest Relations: Warm, welcoming, and made us feel at home from day one. Security: Felt completely safe and secure throughout our stay. Gardens: Beautifully maintained, providing a peaceful environment. Maintenance: Ensured everything was in perfect condition. Pool: Immaculately clean and a perfect place to relax. Concierge: Helpful and informative, always making sure our needs were met. Housekeeping: Top-notch cleanliness and service every day. Accounts: Seamless transactions and excellent customer care.
