Sands Grand Hotel

My trip to Dhigurah Island has been my best and favorite journey so far. We spent 12 nights at the Sands Grand Hotel, and there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. Cleanliness was top-notch, with fresh towels every day (including beach towels, so no need to bring your own), a comfortable bed in a spacious room, a large bathroom with a roomy shower, and a walk-in closet. The room was also equipped with a TV, a kettle, a safe, and a small fridge—everything you need for a pleasant stay. We had breakfast and dinner included, and we were more than impressed with the food (kudos to the chef!!). Every dish was to our liking. That's a brief overview of the accommodation. But if you ask me on a deeper level, I'd describe Sands Grand Hotel as a home away from home. The atmosphere was so cozy that we didn't want to leave. Whenever we needed something, they took care of it without any issues. The staff was friendly and full of energy. Special thanks to Shaheen, Irufan, and of course, everyone else, for making our days on Dhigurah even more special. Your warmth has touched my heart deeply. I stayed here for two days as part of my trip around the Maldives. The staff were incredible in every aspect and went above and beyond to do their best. Local information, tips, support and guidance could not have been better. The room was large and very spacious with a nice work station. There was an issue with the internet but it was resolved immediately which was great for me as a digital nomad connectivity is essential. The excursions were incredible organised and ran by the hotel and we got to see mantras and whale sharks. The trip to the sandbank is a MUST and I highly recommend taking the hotel shuttle for a few dollars unless you fancy the 1 hour walk in the sun. The food was great with very generous portions and I will happily stay here again should I return to Dhigurah

Sants Grant!! What a TOP Hotel is that! With his beautiful garden and great food!!!!! Very nice BIG rooms!!! Good care, super clean and the staff is EXCELLENT!!! I love the girls in the kitchen. And the chef can cook like the best. The location is near the harbor. The island is beautiful. Dhigurah is a bounty island in the sun! The island and this hotel are highly recommended! I will definitely go back again! 🇲🇻 Back for q week and I miss everything allready!

We choose our dream island and dream accommodation.. saying dream because it was a dream. Since we arrived we were very warm welcome by manager of the hotel he is truly very kind and professional person giving us all the details about the hotel, area facilities itself and all the excursions that they provide. I love interior of the place very green a lot of plants we receive the room with doors opening to the backyard with full of flowers and greens it was such an breathtaking view I felt a bit like in Bali.. room was specious washroom decent generally we love the room it has everything what u need: hairdryer, tv in case u want watch Netflix comfy bed water delivered everyday really nice. We took all inclusive option so we had three meals in the hotel everyday something different and very tasty from scramble eggs through pancakes tuna steak and so on we were very satisfied.. the staff was very friendly and professional I felt like in home literally. The other day we were celebrating my birthday, thanks to management and the stuff that was really special day for me.. we took boat to deserted sand bank which was one of a kind of experience .. when we came back what a surprise the bed was decorated with flowers and happy birthday sign on it it was looking amazing and then at the dinner when I didn't expect anything more they brought a cake and they sing for me I couldn't believe it really special birthday for me I will always remember. Thank you. Hotel is in a walking distance from the beach, island itself it's a hidden gem paradise literally I would recommend to everyone. Thank you so much this trip will be always in my heart and I will be happy to be back whenever I have a chance!!

This is the best budget guesthouse I've visited in a whole our island's trip (given that I'm a demanding person for cleanliness and comfort in living). It felt like home there having a little garden with wooden art decoration. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Shahin the manager knows his job in a perfect way (many years working for resorts only). The food in a restaurant is very delicious, they can actually make a meal on your personal request. And the island Dhigurah by itself is still number 1 after visiting 6 islands in different Atolls.

Habitación amplia , el personal, especialmente el gerente sobresaliente. Sin embargo, nuestra experiencia gastronómica dejó mucho que desear, debido a la publicidad engañosa en el sitio web del hotel. Las fotos mostraban apetitosas hamburguesas y pizzas, que desafortunadamente no coincidían con la realidad de nuestras comidas. Nos sirvieron los mismos cuatro platos casi idénticos todos los días tanto para el desayuno como para la cena: arroz, ensalada de repollo, pasta fría y pescado con hormigas, con variaciones ocasionales como pollo rebozado en dos ocasiones. Las opciones de postre eran muy limitadas, como mucho dos. Además, cabe señalar que solo se proporcionaba agua con las comidas, y todas las demás bebidas, incluido el café de la máquina, incurrieron en cargos adicionales, con un precio de 4 euros por café. El desayuno ofrecía muy poca variedad. A pesar de estas decepciones gastronómicas, consideraría volver a alojarme en el hotel en el futuro, pero me abstendría de incluir las comidas en mi reserva.

Wir waren 5 Nächte in diesem Hotel und haben auch ein paar sehr schöne Touren gebucht. Das Hotel ist ein paar Gehminuten vom Bikini Beach entfernt, was aber nicht so schlimm ist, da der Weg dorthin sehr schön ist und man so die Möglichkeit hat auch was für den Strand einzukaufen. Der Hotel Manager ist extrem bemüht seine Gästen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Wer die Insel etwas unterstützen möchte, kann auf die Halbpension/ Vollpension auch gut verzichten. Die Qualität der Mahlzeiten war aber immer sehr gut. Vielen Dank dem gesamten Team für den unvergesslichen Urlaub 💪

Отель новый! Еда - очень вкусная, разнообразная. Мы брали полное питание- всегда разные блюда, готовили прям на заказ (главное - заранее предупредить). Персонал настолько хороший, что даже не описать. Они все добрые, милые, отзывчивые! У меня сломалась зарядка в телефоне, так они сразу же нашли мне беспроводную зарядку! У нас была свадьба на острове, так персонал помог с организацией свадьбы! Это просто самый лучший отель, в которому мы когда либо были! Они помогали убирать грязь на косе и устанавливать арку, а также помогал с доставкой нас до косы! Вообщем персонал отличный! Экскурсии тоже супер! Вообщем обязательно выбирайте этот отель не думая!

Bom quarto com cama confortável e boa casa de banho, Todos os funcionários foram bastante simpáticos e atenciosos desde a chegada até ao check-out, sempre disponíveis para ajudar nas nossas dúvidas. Comida ótima, tendo sido possível conhecer refeições habituais da região, sempre com bom atendimento. Havia acesso a excursões pagas e tivemos uma experiência incrível de snorkeling com tubarões baleia que recomendamos vivamente.
