Staying at Joy Island was exactly what I needed — peaceful, quiet, and away from the constant rush of daily life. From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease. My host Simona was incredibly attentive and helped me with every request I had — especially when it came to finding the perfect villa for me: quiet, peaceful, and with the ideal view I was looking for. A special mention to the restaurant team — Dita, Shasha, Nihaa, and GTA. I truly wish I could name everyone, but there were so many kind people who always greeted me with a smile. The chefs, waiters, bar staff, buggy drivers, and reception team all went above and beyond with warmth that made me feel truly welcome. The food was excellent, the service exceptional, and the atmosphere calm and relaxing — the perfect place to switch off and recharge. A true gem in the Maldives — highly recommended. 10/10.

Location, service, facilities and food were all excellent. The beach was very clean and the family enjoyed snorkelling safely. The food was excellent, including the market dining room, pizza and paella. We would like to go back again.

We had an unforgettable stay at the resort! The excellent room service, especially thanks to Ahu, made our experience exceptional. The food was delicious, with the tiramisu being the best we've ever had and the chocolate night an excellent touch. The handmade ravioli was exquisite, and the prosecco sent to our room was the perfect finishing touch. All these wonderful details made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return!

Супер отдых, релакс. Еда вкусная , разнообразная , развлечения по вечерам достойные . Вернёмся обязательно на более длительный срок. Океан красивый и чистый, много обитателей видно без маски, скаты, дельфины , змеи и тд , очень райское место .

Великолепный отель. Еда очень вкусная и разнообразная. Чистейший белый песок. Лазурная вода. Есть теннисный корт. Куча разных развлечений, включая заплывы с акулами. В общем, кайф.

Новый курорт на райском острове. Прекрасный пляж, понравились ребята в water sports - все оборудование новое, рабочее и сами сотрудники приятные в общении. Персонал в основном ресторане очень улыбчивый. Прекрасно встречают с барабанами и провожают, очень атмосферно. Много еды, хороший выбор, вкусный тунец, неплохое мясо бывает. Очень много всего включено по питанию, для нас даже было слишком. В номере очень жарко, без кондиционера никак. Были на других курортах - там у вилл более высокие крыши и солома сверху, защищает виллу от перегрева. Здесь такого нет, вилла раскаляется на солнце. сама вилла очень простая, как домик на базе отдыха в России ) не хватило возможности подключить телефон к ТВ, более современных розеток, зарядок. Кондиционер в beach villa висит напротив кровати, не простыть почти нет возможности.. В номере включено много напитков, вина. Не знаю, кто может столько всего потреблять.. как по мне, немного избыточно. Отель новый - растительности пока нет, очень жарко передвигаться по острову, так как пока нет тени. На основном пляже напротив beach villa стоят волнорезы, на фото их не увидела. По факту они конечно спасают от волн, но портят кадр) для красивых фото приходилось уходить в район water sports. А так остров замечательный! Хоть и не большой. Это наш третий курорт на Мальдивах, надеюсь когда-нибудь вернуться, если курорт разрастется)

酒店餐廳的廚師很好，很友善， 酒店的保姆很有耐心 英文很好 酒店管家和經理 能力很差，對比中國管家他們還需要有很大很大的改善。他們酒店的管家和經理我覺得他要再上一些持續進修課程，當管家的能力實在太差勁。原定預訂了兩晚水上屋帶泳池和一晚沙灘屋帶泳池，當我長途跋涉到達酒店，告訴我，我第一晚的水上屋帶泳池滿房了，安排第二種房間給我，旁邊還有很多不同國籍的人入住，只有我們是中國人，感覺就像被不認真對待，把我們的房間讓給了他人，水上屋帶泳池的定價比我們入住的房間是較昂貴的。他們給我們的彌補，只是我們用房間的差價買了。第二晚終於安排了我們入住水上屋帶泳池，但最令人憤怒的事情，就是要我們早上10:00把房間交出來，然後再轉去沙灘屋，我說退房時間不是12點嗎？為什麼要我10點就要把房間交出來？那為什麼？我昨天入住的時候不是早上呢？我小朋友還在房間裏睡覺。另外酒店的沙灘上有很多垃圾，馬爾代夫不是一個很漂亮的地方嗎？為什麼充滿了垃圾呢？這些都是酒店排出來的嗎？全部都是由鮮榨橙汁橙皮和其他水果皮？另外酒店毛巾是黃黃灰灰的，不是雪白的？

We spent four days in paradise. All the staff were extremely friendly, especially Naveen and Gita from the restaurant and our host Aani, who was attentive at all times and always available for any request. 100% recommended.

We visited here in mid November 2025 for grand Reunion of many dear friends and family. It was a truly outstanding experience and always. This is a very private island with over 100 rooms and many bungalows over the water that are beautifully appointed and very quiet with many sand beaches to choose from as well as an array of water sports as well as guided scuba, diving and other activities. The staff to visitor ratio is about one to one and is absolutely outstanding. The service is more than polite - there is an urgency by everybody on the island to help you in any way they can. I would particularly recommend the water bungalows which have private steps into the surrounding orders, as well as the spa for the service is also impeccable. The food choices are multiple and also excellent and fresh every day. Getting here is also an experience with direct water taxis which only take about 45 minutes from the Male airport to the hotel jetty . All the managers were excellent and a special thanks to Bandula who looked after our group. Great memories and a great visit with perfect weather also.

Found my slice of paradise at joy island! The perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment. Beautiful main pool with sunset view and water sport activities. A must-visit getaway for anyone seeking joy and peaceful escape🫶🏼

Joy Island, a piece of heaven! The room and view was spacious, and staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and lots of options 🫶. Joy Island is an absolute Gem with lots of activities cater to all, You can chill at rainbow bar with amazing sunset views next to main pool,snorkel, engage in water sports and music entertainment, Every night they have entertainment like glow party, hawaii night, maldives night etc..which makes us not bored at all💫 Highly recommend this resort to all who is looking for relaxing & joyful getaway ✨

Our stay at Joy Island was absolutely wonderful! The island is stunning — surrounded by crystal-clear water, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. We stayed in a Water Villa, which was definitely worth it — the view was breathtaking, and waking up to the sound of the ocean was unforgettable. A big thank you to our Island Host Ako and the entire team for making our stay so special. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Dita, Gita, Juni, and Suzy for their warm and caring service, and to Swastu, Nabeen, Adnian, and Ausath for always looking after us so well. Ripon, Babby, and Anton, together with all the other chefs, did a fantastic job — the food was always fresh, delicious, and varied. We truly had an unforgettable time on Joy Island and are so grateful to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended — we would love to return one day!
