Joy Island Maldives by Cocoon Collection

We had an unforgettable stay at the resort! The excellent room service, especially thanks to Ahu, made our experience exceptional. The food was delicious, with the tiramisu being the best we've ever had and the chocolate night an excellent touch. The handmade ravioli was exquisite, and the prosecco sent to our room was the perfect finishing touch. All these wonderful details made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return!

Новый курорт на райском острове. Прекрасный пляж, понравились ребята в water sports - все оборудование новое, рабочее и сами сотрудники приятные в общении. Персонал в основном ресторане очень улыбчивый. Прекрасно встречают с барабанами и провожают, очень атмосферно. Много еды, хороший выбор, вкусный тунец, неплохое мясо бывает. Очень много всего включено по питанию, для нас даже было слишком. В номере очень жарко, без кондиционера никак. Были на других курортах - там у вилл более высокие крыши и солома сверху, защищает виллу от перегрева. Здесь такого нет, вилла раскаляется на солнце. сама вилла очень простая, как домик на базе отдыха в России ) не хватило возможности подключить телефон к ТВ, более современных розеток, зарядок. Кондиционер в beach villa висит напротив кровати, не простыть почти нет возможности.. В номере включено много напитков, вина. Не знаю, кто может столько всего потреблять.. как по мне, немного избыточно. Отель новый - растительности пока нет, очень жарко передвигаться по острову, так как пока нет тени. На основном пляже напротив beach villa стоят волнорезы, на фото их не увидела. По факту они конечно спасают от волн, но портят кадр) для красивых фото приходилось уходить в район water sports. А так остров замечательный! Хоть и не большой. Это наш третий курорт на Мальдивах, надеюсь когда-нибудь вернуться, если курорт разрастется)

We had such an amazing time at Joy Island Maldives! The whole place has such a beautiful vibe – calm, relaxing and so well kept. A big shoutout to Sayuri, our island host – she honestly made everything so easy for us and was always there whenever we needed help. At the Rainbow Bar, Sheikh made us feel so welcome – super friendly and always with a smile, he really added to our experience. What touched us the most was the effort from the chefs. They made special meals every day for our 2-year-old, which meant so much to us as parents. It just shows how thoughtful and caring the team here is. Overall, the hospitality was outstanding and we left with such warm memories. Definitely a place we’d love to come back to!

This was our first trip to the Maldives and it truly felt like a dream. Everything was smooth from the moment we arrived — we were greeted at the airport, transferred easily, and welcomed on the island with drums and cool towels. The staff made our stay unforgettable. Felicia was always available to help us with anything, and Naal, the buggy driver, was always there when we needed him. We celebrated my mother’s birthday at the Japanese restaurant, and Ian made the evening so special. Akram’s fire show and energy lit up the nights, while Lydia’s singing and DJ Shashe’s music created the perfect atmosphere. Special thanks to Destiny from Rainbow Bar and Suzy from The Market for their kind service, and to Mary and Sandu at the Kids Room for taking such great care of our youngest. The beach was clean and private, the food was delicious and varied (the desserts were amazing!), and all activities were close by, making everything so convenient. A beautiful, relaxing, and memorable stay — highly recommended.

We as a family would love to recommend staying at Joy Island. The food, people and rooms was amazing all the way around Everything has been to a maximum standard, and we have enjoyed every moment A special thanks to Asad, Rishal, Ausath, Izzy and Jazey for making our stay so special PS, shout out Esther from the yoga class. We travel frequently to 5 star all inclusive resorts and can confidently say that this is one of the best resorts that we have visited. The quality of food is exceptional in the Market (buffet) restaurant, the Palm Beach restaurant and in the pizza restaurant. We did not try the Japanese restaurant so cannot comment on that one but presume it will be of a similar high standard. The resort as a whole is well maintained and pristine. The rooms (we were upgraded on arrival to a water villa ) again were well maintained, spacious and cleaned numerous times a day. There is a varied entertainment programme centred around the pool area and the Rainbow Bar that you can choose to engage in but there is no pressure to take part if you would rather just observe. Although the resort is quite small it never felt crowded or busy. We spent a lot of time on the beach next to the Palm Beach restaurant and on numerous occasions there would only be us and a few other couples there. The staff... they are an absolute credit to this resort. From the moment we were greeted at the airport to the moment we left the resort we were shown nothing but kindness. We have never visited a resort with better customer service than JOY. Every single member of staff was outstanding, they could not do enough to help you and ensure that your holiday was special. We were very fortunate to be invited to a staff talent contest in the staff quarters and were overwhelmed by the kindness and care shown to us by the staff even when they were off duty. A very special experience for us. There are some members of staff that we would like to personally thank for making our time at JOY very special. Gracia at the Market Restaurant with her beautiful smile, attentiveness and for learning our names after day one and greeting us every day by name which added a lovely personal touch. Ausath again at the Market Restaurant for being so helpful, polite and friendly. Yaamin, Aabish, Destiny and Naahil again for being generally lovely, helpful and kind. Akram (entertainment) for his abundance of energy and general ability to spread joy! Last but by no way least our thanks has to go to our island host Jazey who is worth his weight in gold. Jaze
