Super 8 by Wyndham Dewitt

The hotel is very outdated to say the least. The key cards very rarely work when you need them too. Internet is beyond terrible.

The room carpet was dirty. My 22 month old got black feet from walking barefoot in the room. The blanket and towels were ripped and stained. The continental breakfast was very poor for the following reasons: expired fermented orange juice, the waffle batter was gross (didn't look fresh). There was very little yogurt, only white bread, no fruit. We won't be staying there again.

Our stay at the Super 8 in Dewitt, Iawa was a pleasant experience. The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant and friendly, and it was evident that he enjoyed his job and dealing with people. The room itself was large and clean. It was great to have a table with two chairs, and a slightly larger dorm size refrigerator with a small freezer area. The TV worked great, and there were a variety of TV channels from which to choose. Water pressure and hot water were fine. We were assigned a room at the end of the hallway, right by the outside door on the first floor. The grounds were clean, and there was a huge amount of green space for walking the dogs. Even though I was located about 25 minutes away from the dog show we were attending, I would definitely stay here again. It had all the hallmarks I look for when traveling with dogs: friendly staff, reasonable pet fee, clean room with comfortable bed, and clean grounds with plenty of space for walking the dogs. AND there were several very good eating places in Dewitt!
