I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience we had at the Courtyard Philadelphia Great Valley/Malvern. I would like to start off by complimenting some of your amazing staff and do hope that I have their names correctly and apologize for not having the other names. Linda, the person working at the front desk Saturday afternoon/evening was such a joy.!!! She was extremely kind, asking if we needed anything, cleaning the lobby area, greeting people as they were walking through the doors. You can tell, she loves her job and what she does. Rasheed, the chef! Rasheed was the bartender in the lobby area. He was engaging with everyone, polite, pleasant and we only found out at the end that he was the actual Chef/cook bartending due to staff not showing up and he was helping out. The maintenance gentleman (can't remember his name) was also working Saturday evening, noticed that i was upset and tried to help the best he could. He did go above and ask if there was anything that he could do to make my experience better. Saturday morning AM staff for breakfast did not show up and breakfast was not available at all, not a big deal for us. The gentleman that seemed to be from a different department helped with running to get cereal and water for everyone waiting! Very kind person. Please, please, please pass along my gratitude for the hard work that they are doing and it did not go unnoticed at all. They are the "A" team in my eyes. Mind blowing at how unprofessional Aja Walker, the GM is as well as the front desk Manager, Sarah. I have yet to hear from Aja after providing my contact information and she left the hotel without contacting me as she stated she would. Email in detail will be following.
