Scp Depoe Bay

We had a wonderfully restful and relaxing stay at SCP Depoe Bay. It was so nice to stay someplace different and unique from the usual cookie cutter hotels. Our room had a lovely view of the small harbor and iconic bridge. A fireplace ,comfy bed and balcony was so nice. The common room with a fireplace and large outdoor deck for eating breakfast was really fun. Depending on the weather you have a choice of where to have your coffee ,granola , and fruit. They had my favorite Smith Teas as well! I was careless and left some items behind. Julia at the desk was so helping in mailing them back to me! Highly recommend this off the beaten path gem on the beautiful Oregon Coast!

We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints! Great and comfortable pet friendly place. You can't beat The View or the Comforts in the communal very large living area. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable with helpful tips if needed. The concept here is different from other hotels we love the purpose. Soul soul community & Planet. Natural products, healthy food choices and a place for relaxation. That added to the view of the harbor of Depoe Bay could not be held anywhere else

We had one night on our roadtrip in Oregon. Service was good and clear. Rooms were spotless, but had no comfort at all. 2 hard metal chairs, beds were not made up. We had to do it ourselves. The chairs on the balcony were soaked because of the holes in the upper wooden balcony. So when it rains, you cannot sit outside, even when there's a roof above.

We loved our stay at the SCP! The rooms are cute and comfy, especially the rooms with a balcony and fireplace. The location is wonderful. It’s a quick walk into town and the view of the harbor and bridge is great. We enjoyed the common area and thought the granola was amazing! As others noted the walls are super thin. The rooms have sound machines but earplugs might be needed for light sleepers. We will definitely return.

We had never been to an SCP hotel before, but their website looked good, and the reviews were good, too. We were surprised that the rate was quite reasonable, so we wondered if there was a catch. However, as soon as we got there and entered our room, we knew there was no catch. The room was clean, and there were more amenities than other places with higher prices. The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows. The view of the harbor was great, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay there. We were particularly impressed with the common room. It was large, welcoming, and well-decorated. As with many other reviews of this place, we, too, enjoyed the homemade granola for breakfast. We LOVED that they offered oat milk. Last, but not least, we really appreciated Julia for her customer service. She was pleasant and professional and made sure that she informed us of all available amenities. Because of all of the above, our weekend getaway was hassle-free, which is exactly how we like it. Additionally, we rarely ever return to a place because we like to experience new places each time. However, in this case we would be happy to return to SCP Depoe Bay Hotel.

The property was well-managed, extremely clean, plus the morning granola was delicious! The location was in a quiet peaceful place, downtown was a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Lovely area, whale watching tower is close by as well.

Awesome staff, wonderful grounds. The room was amazing, huge bath tub, comfy bed, awesome hammock swing. If that us nit enough you have amazing views from your balcony of the harbor and main street.

I had a wonderful experience. Love the concept of soul, community and planet. It is noticeable throughout the hotel. The room and hotel was very relaxing and clean. The view of the bay and accessibility to the ocean, restaurants, attractions and shops was a plus. Walking distance for all. Julia was extremely friendly and helpful. She’s a gem. Recommending restaurants and activities. She suggested a great morning of whale watching! Breakfast was simple and enough to get the day started. Checking out was a breeze online. Planning on staying again and bringing my family.

This newly renovated motel is horrible! We had stayed at this property when it was run by other owners! It was lovely then, but now it’s horrible! The room is not decorated at all! There is a platform with a queen mattress on it, 2 chairs that make IKEA furniture look like Ethan Allen, absolutely nothing on the 4 white walls, no hairdryer available, one tiny lamp, also probably bought the Dollar Store! The towels were rough! They advertised a breakfast included! That included coffee, water, tea, OLD dried out fruit, and some granola wrapped in a paper bag, to eat out of a paper cup. Stay away!
