Tree of Life Bed & Breakfast

5-Star Review I recently stayed at this wonderful B&B in New Delhi, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The owner, Ashwani, is truly one of the kindest people I've ever met. His hospitality and willingness to help were beyond anything I expected. He made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable, going out of his way to assist with local tips and recommendations. The B&B itself is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. Clean, cozy, and well-appointed, it felt like a home away from home. If you’re looking for a place that combines excellent service with a welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot! Thank you, Ashwani, for an unforgettable experience!

For two women and first time travellers to India, we were very grateful to have found Tree of life in South Delhi’s Saket. Tree of Life B&B can be described as home away from home type of place, in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, not far from some of Delhi's attractions, historical sites, shopping malls and not to forget a convenient access to transport via metro or tuk tuk, taxi to any other location you need. Beautiful, comfortable, spacious rooms, clean, quiet and all amenities available. Breakfast was fantastic, freshly prepared and for a small surcharge we enjoyed many delicious dinners. The real highlight are the owner Ashwani and his staff Suraj and Ramraj, who are not only very kind and hospitable, but also very helpful. Any questions we had, they were there to help, even organising our day tour to Agra and suggesting Delhi’s hidden spots. I certainly know where I’m staying next time I come to Delhi or where I’m recommending my friends to stay.

We stayed 3 nights in the lovely Tree of Life, great neighbourhood, close to Metro which was clean efficient & frequent. Ashwini,was gracious, helpful & communicative on booking by email. One of the biggest positives, was he offered us a free transfer from the airport to the accommodation & when you first fly in to India it's a godsend. The staff were fantastic, we ate in-house the food was delicious as was breakfasts. Nothing was a problem for them, & we enjoyed Delhi because of this. Dhanyawaad Ashwini & the team. I stayed at the Tree Of Life Airbnb for the Delhi portion of the Himalayan Writer's Retreat. Landing in Delhi at 4:00 am is dizzying, but pulling up and being welcomed in my beautiful spacious room at Tree of Life was such a relief. After a few hours of sleep, I had a wonderful breakfast, met another writer member and with Ashwani, the host's many recommendations, we felt empowered to explore Delhi via subway and tuk tuk, and we had the best day ever. Not only is this place just a short walk from the subway, but is also close to several malls. It is quiet, but close to much activity. Tree of Life is clean, safe and welcoming. I also cannot say enough positive words about Ashwani, the host and owner of Tree of Life. He goes above and beyond for everyone but he makes you feel you are the most important guest. He helped us find an ATM - actually walked with us to the very ATM we needed (we would have picked the first one we saw). He helped me navigate a difficult issue with a local that could have had a very negative result. He is kind, ethical but importantly, savvy about all things Delhi that we Americans need. He also kindly arranged the necessary Covid testing so we could meet the requirements to fly back to the US. Who does all this? He taught me a lot about being a gracious host. I cannot say enough positive words about Ashwani and Tree of Life. Do not hesitate to stay here; I cannot wait to come back.

I stayed at the Tree of LIfe Bed and Breakfast before and after my time teaching at the Himalayan Writing Retreat. The Tree of Life has an excellent location, is safe, with nice, comfortable rooms. The rooms come with breakfast and everyone at the Tree of Life works hard to make sure you have a nice stay. The best part of the Tree of Life is Ashwani, the owner. He made sure we had help with our bags, he arranged a Covid test at the B&B before we traveled back to the US, he walked us over to a safe ATM, he arranged a driver for the day so we didn't have to deal with tuk tuk's changing prices (such a great investment!). Ashwani also helped one of our friends get out of an uncomfortable situation, and he made it seem easy. Ashwani has a gentle, calm demeanor, but he's also funny and wise. He doesn't want to intrude, but if you ask him for recommendations of what to do, he is a font of information. Because we were a part of the Himalayan Writing Retreat, we hadn't done much research of what to do in Delhi. Ashwani gave us great lists of what to do, and made sure we knew how to do it. I loved his recommendations. He helped make my time in Delhi a lot of fun, and not overwhelming. I highly recommend the Tree of Life (and Ashwani). We can highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. We were travelling with two kids and felt very welcome. Quiet and safe place, very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Even got a dinner when arriving very late and hungry the first evening.

Beautiful little guest house in Delhi. Rooms are super clean, confortable and spacious. Big bathrooms with very good showers (hot water that is easy to change temperature and good water pressure). Great location, just a very short walk from Saket metro station and a short tuktuk ride to City Walk shopping mall. The owner, Ashwani and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and available from 7.30am (earlier than most other places we stayed in India). I wish we could have stayed longer.

I discovered this place in 2010 and have been a visitor almost (the Covid interregnum is behind the 'almost') every year since, some years more than once. I described it as a gem after my first visit. It remains so. I am not from Delhi. Tree of Life has been my home in Delhi now for fourteen years. The attachment continues to deepen. What are the ingredients of the magic that Tree of Life is? The usual suspects - location, convenience, reliability, responsiveness, affordability, ... - are all there of course. But it is Ashwani's humanity that stands out in my mind. Being his guest has been a pleasure. Knowing him has been a privilege.

I had a Great time at this homestay. Owner really kind and helpful as all the staff, gave me Great advice on where to visit and Place near by where to eat. Great location and room Is big and nice. I had dinner in their homestay and the food Is really good.
