Tree of Life Bed & Breakfast

I'm glad to have found this place after looking through reviews of a lot of other hotels within my budget. I was initially skeptical of booking a B&B but decided to take the leap of faith after reading quality reviews by a variety of visitors across different platforms. Check-in process was smooth, staff was helpful. Most importantly, there is lift access! Location is quiet despite it is nearby an enclave of ATMs, shops and eateries such as McDonald's. (ATM charge is 200 Rs for foreign CCs FYI) Room facilities: everything that is supposed to work, is working and well-maintained. Sufficient countertop space in the bathroom and sufficient desk space. Room is well-lit. There is a physical latch behind the door for safety. Vegetarian breakfast is available. Breakfast is prepared fresh individually when you asked for it - so allow some prep time. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and taken care of in this B&B. Uber fare to the airport is about 350 Rs, and took 35 mins in the morning.

Very clean bed and breakfast in a quiet area not far from the airport. Ideally located to start the visit with Qtub Minar in the morning. Warm welcome and very good breakfast. Our rim was very large and clean with a large bathroom. We had everything handy after a very long delayed flight arriving very late in the night.

His hospitality and willingness to help were beyond anything I expected. He made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable, going out of his way to assist with local tips and recommendations. The B&B itself is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. Clean, cozy, and well-appointed, it felt like a home away from home. For two women and first time travellers to India, we were very grateful to have found Tree of life in South Delhi’s Saket. Tree of Life B&B can be described as home away from home type of place, in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, not far from some of Delhi's attractions, historical sites, shopping malls and not to forget a convenient access to transport via metro or tuk tuk, taxi to any other location you need. Beautiful, comfortable, spacious rooms, clean, quiet and all amenities available. Breakfast was fantastic, freshly prepared and for a small surcharge we enjoyed many delicious dinners. The real highlight are the owner Ashwani and his staff Suraj and Ramraj, who are not only very kind and hospitable, but also very helpful. Any questions we had, they were there to help, even organising our day tour to Agra and suggesting Delhi’s hidden spots. I certainly know where I’m staying next time I come to Delhi or where I’m recommending my friends to stay.

I stayed at the Tree Of Life Airbnb for the Delhi portion of the Himalayan Writer's Retreat. Landing in Delhi at 4:00 am is dizzying, but pulling up and being welcomed in my beautiful spacious room at Tree of Life was such a relief. After a few hours of sleep, I had a wonderful breakfast, met another writer member and with Ashwani, the host's many recommendations, we felt empowered to explore Delhi via subway and tuk tuk, and we had the best day ever. Not only is this place just a short walk from the subway, but is also close to several malls. It is quiet, but close to much activity. Tree of Life is clean, safe and welcoming. I also cannot say enough positive words about Ashwani, the host and owner of Tree of Life. He goes above and beyond for everyone but he makes you feel you are the most important guest. He helped us find an ATM - actually walked with us to the very ATM we needed (we would have picked the first one we saw). He helped me navigate a difficult issue with a local that could have had a very negative result. He is kind, ethical but importantly, savvy about all things Delhi that we Americans need. He also kindly arranged the necessary Covid testing so we could meet the requirements to fly back to the US. Who does all this? He taught me a lot about being a gracious host. I cannot say enough positive words about Ashwani and Tree of Life. Do not hesitate to stay here; I cannot wait to come back.

I stayed at the Tree of LIfe Bed and Breakfast before and after my time teaching at the Himalayan Writing Retreat. The Tree of Life has an excellent location, is safe, with nice, comfortable rooms. The rooms come with breakfast and everyone at the Tree of Life works hard to make sure you have a nice stay. The best part of the Tree of Life is Ashwani, the owner. He made sure we had help with our bags, he arranged a Covid test at the B&B before we traveled back to the US, he walked us over to a safe ATM, he arranged a driver for the day so we didn't have to deal with tuk tuk's changing prices (such a great investment!). Ashwani also helped one of our friends get out of an uncomfortable situation, and he made it seem easy. Ashwani has a gentle, calm demeanor, but he's also funny and wise. He doesn't want to intrude, but if you ask him for recommendations of what to do, he is a font of information. Because we were a part of the Himalayan Writing Retreat, we hadn't done much research of what to do in Delhi. Ashwani gave us great lists of what to do, and made sure we knew how to do it. I loved his recommendations. He helped make my time in Delhi a lot of fun, and not overwhelming. I highly recommend the Tree of Life (and Ashwani).
