Baymont by Wyndham Delavan Near Lake Geneva

Never again will I stay at this location. The odor, the cleanliness was atrocious. The bed was literally held up by a cinder block. The rates skyrocketed 300% for the weekend. Very let down

Convenient access to downtown Delavan, WI. But nothing else to say. Elevator and room were worn. Bathroom was real small.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We had three separate rooms between my friends and I and they all had similar accounts. As you can see from the photos, the room was very unkempt, there were stains all over the room, there were yellow chunks on the blackout curtain, there was a very strong smell in the hotel and in the room. My friend's room, the sheets were incredibly stained and had hair in them. The shower pressure is low and was cold, never got even close to warm. I checked out after my first night and got the receipt for my credit back for the following two nights and was charged for all three nights-- even AFTER the pending refund was on my account! They had refunded me and then took it away, probably hoping I wouldn't notice. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Please, please, please do not stay here if you have one ounce of dignity. After reading many of the reviews, my experience is very similar to the other 1 star reviews, and now that I have to file a dispute just puts the cherry on top of NEVER AGAIN.

while we were checking in another guest was complaining to the clerk that their door had fallen off its hinges when they opened it!!! yikes... and the clerk seemed very upset with the guests, and was reluctant to give them a new room. when we first arrived to our room on the 2nd floor, the bathroom was dirty, i had to clean yellow dried pee spots off of the toilet seat before my wife could use the bathroom, the floor in the shower was very slippery, and had to use what very few towels were provided to put on the floor as to not slip and fall, and left it there for my wife and children. the window curtains wouldn't close all the way, which made my wife nervous, as the roof was accessible by a ladder that we walked past from the parking lot. the bathroom celling was missing tiles and we could see what looked like shotty repairs done to pipes and electrical. and the cob webs hanging down..room description says there was a mini fridge, but there wasn't, but there was a microwave.

Male housekeeper entered my room without knocking. Staff barely speaks English. There is no manager on property at night or weekends. Beware. Avoid this hotel.

Comfortable bed, good shower pressure. Hotel appearance looks run down. Cracks in bathroom floor tiles, caulking done poorly. I would not plan on returning to this hotel. We stayed here for convenience in location.

Shower dirty. Holes in walls. Sheets dirty. Couch dirty. Unfinished painting. Smell in room was terrible. Called and they said we could have a double room available but not a queen room to replace our room. Checked out within a couple of hours of stay.

If you have ZERO options, this is the place for you. Keep your expectations as low as possible and be prepared for filth. Don’t expect any assistance from the staff as they seem jaded by complaints. They will laugh in your face when you’re complaining. The owner doesn’t mind his rude staff either. So no need to bring it up. And watch your bank account, they’ll overcharge you “on accident”

The elevator was out of order. Had to walk up and down steep stairs from outside hotel. The exit door would not open from inside. I am sure this is a safety violation! I am no spring chicken! They should have offered a different hotel! Besides that it was shabby. Second day they left no soap and I was not about to walk those stairs again to get some. The manager was difficult to understand and not the least concerned with the situation!
