As a solo female traveler, I stayed here three nights before going to Rishikesh for a yoga course. While Dehradun isn’t much of a sightseeing destination, I felt safe staying at The Hosteller. The staff were super helpful and the hostel vibe was jovial, consisting of local travelers keen to chat and play guitar/sing on the rooftop in the evening.

My stay at The Hosteller in Dehradun was truly memorable, thanks to the amazing manager Avdhesh Dixit. From ensuring every guest was comfortable to sharing local insights, his dedication to creating a welcoming environment was evident in every interaction. The level of professionalism he exhibited, combined with his genuine concern for guests, speaks volumes about his passion for hospitality. His friendly nature turned casual chats into meaningful conversations, making the experience even more special. It’s rare to meet someone who balances professionalism with such a personal touch. Highly recommend staying here — you’ll leave with great memories and maybe even a new friend!

On new year I stayed here seriously this the place where we can get the smooth stay with positive vibes and tasty food, staff is so supportive and cooperative especially avdhesh sir treated me as his brother and guide me as a eldor brother I want to come this place again

Budget stay for solo travellers , this the place where you find the positive vibe because the staff is so supportive food is really delicious , rooms are too clean bed are super comfy washroom clean on point. Tarrace is the best part of this hostel. Especilly avdhesh bhaiyya is so cooprative.

I slept in 1 room with young lady working at reception. She was going to bed around 23h, talking on her phone?! After I asked her to be more silent cuz I was already sleeping, she continued listening to music and videos on her phone, disturbing my sleep. I'm disappointed and leaving angry. 2 nights I didn't get proper sleep. Other guests were also noisy and smoking near my windows. Location is also noisy - big street, many cars. Otherwise is clean, European Standart. Easy to order food, good wifi. However, this young lady from staff went on my nerves :/ very inconsiderate person and she is working in hospitality businesses... Terrace is nice, but most people just come to smoke and look at their phones...

I had an amazing stay at Hosteller Dehradun! The property is well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any queries. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I particularly enjoyed the common areas, which are perfect for meeting fellow travelers and sharing experiences. The location is also ideal, close to popular spots yet tucked away in a peaceful area. Whether you're a solo traveler or with friends, this place offers a great balance of comfort, community, and convenience. Highly recommend it!

I am expressing my experience at this property after my recent visit. The staff is very very helpful and always there to assist with your queries. The rooms are good 😊. The location is also good and peaceful during night time. I will highly recommend this property, it you're planning to visit Dehradun. The hostel usually have inhouse events like bonfire 🔥 etc. Overall my stay was memorable, will definitely recommend. Thanks for the hospitality 🥰🥰

One of the better option for the solo travelers or for the couples because of comfortable stay with proper hygiene and maintend well by the staff.bonfire on the terrace really gives us a good vibe, ☺️ you can order food and enjoy music on the terrace with bonfire

Neat and clean bunk bed with proper cleaning of the dorm .storage was good for keep the luggage and it's safe. And secure .common area is good you can enjoy and also access the common area for workation.food is also good.behaviour of staff is also good
