1. Complimentary Breakfast That Doesn’t Exist Your hotel advertises complimentary breakfast from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM, but when we arrived at 8:00 AM, there was nothing set up. If you’re not going to provide breakfast, why advertise it? Guests don’t expect to play hide-and-seek with their meals. 2. Unreasonable Complaints About a 2-Year-Old We have a 2-year-old son, and during our stay, we received multiple complaints from your staff about him being noisy and jumping around. Let me remind you: our room was above the office—not another guest room. Yet your front desk staff and even the manager felt the need to call us and ask if our toddler could “be mindful.” Seriously? Do you expect a 2-year-old to sit silently like an adult? To make matters worse, when we brought this up with the manager, he made an unnecessary and bizarre remark about “honoring the price” of our room. What does that even have to do with our child being loud? This comment was uncalled for, dismissive, and completely irrelevant to the conversation. We also asked if we could be moved to another room, but the manager claimed that ours was the only room with a kitchenette. So, not only were we stuck in that situation, but we were also subjected to unnecessary harassment from your staff despite having no alternative. 3. Toilet That Didn’t Work From Day One The toilet in our room was an ongoing nightmare. It didn’t flush properly, requiring us to use the plunger repeatedly, and eventually, it flooded completely. Days later, the manager finally came with a snake and fixed it—thank goodness—but by that point, we had already suffered enough. On the day it flooded, I had to hold my pee for several hours, which is beyond ridiculous and unacceptable. 4. Unprofessional and Inept Front Desk Staff Your front desk staff were completely unhelpful and unprofessional. When we reported the toilet issue, we were met with excuses about recent renovations, as if that somehow justified a broken toilet. The woman at the desk assured us she would notify the manager (who is apparently her husband), but nothing was done until days later. This lack of communication and accountability is frustrating and inexcusable. 5. Broken Washer and Lack of Solutions The laundry facilities were just as useless. My husband put $2 into the washer, and it didn’t work. The front desk staff’s brilliant solution was to repeatedly rub the lid like it was some kind of magic trick—obviously, it didn’t fix anything. She then promised we could use the main washer later but never followed up. The level of incompetence here is staggering. While the room itself was visually decent, the numerous issues with basic amenities, the lack of professionalism from your staff, and the failure to address problems in a timely manner made our stay unnecessarily stressful.
