The Ship in Dock Inn

Gorgeous little guest house!/pub. Incredibly friendly and helpful owner who has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Absolutely gorgeous room overlooking the lovely estuary only a few hundred metres from the buzz of the main areas of shops, bars and restaurants. Huge en suite with shower and bath. Spotlessly clean with real attention to detail, huge comfy bed, awesome, very effective Dyson fan in the room. Really impressed and will 100% stay here again when we return to Dartmouth (which is also gorgeous).

I thoroughly recommend this bed and breakfast, I had the top room (no4) which looks over the green towards the river, with pretty flowers in the window box. Adequate sized room, very clean and comfy; the breakfast was excellent, lovely fresh fruit, loads of proper yoghurt and nicely cooked veggie. Friendly welcome and accommodating when I had to check out late because of a problem charging up the car. Much better value than paying double or more in the posher hotels in town. The pub was shut for Sunday evening when I was there, looked a nice place to have a drink when it's open.

A really nice place to stay. Staff couldn’t done enough for us. Very happy to do some off menu items for breakfast including kippers and haddock, delightfully done. Rooms clean and lots of nice touches. Building very original and authentic which adds to the charm. We’ll be back.

A great little pub in the centre of Dartmouth The room was beautifully arranged and maintained. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and did as much as they could to make our stay a good one. Only one down side - no lift. This pub is almost on the front, very easy to get round the town. It was a super stay. Free overnight parking is possible, immediately opposite the pub.

Just got home from staying for 2 nights. Very clean, comfy room. As good a breakfast as you will find anywhere. Cereal, lovely fresh fruit salad, natural yoghurt and high quality full English breakfast. Very short walk to centre of town. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Ship in Dock Inn Fab stay. Highly recommend. Room although bit small had everything you need and more. Lovely shower spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb. Lovely welcoming staff. Definitely will be going back.
