an authentic and charming Ottoman Damascene experience, beautifully decorated to its finest detail, extremely clean with very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect location at the heart of Damascus - in a quiet alley, walking distance to all sights, restaurants and bars in Old Damascus, but not affected by any external noise. Make sure you wander around and gaze at every piece, corner and detail, and enjoy a cup of tea around the fountain in the afternoon - you wouldn’t want to leave. There’s no place I’d recommend more, and can’t wait to go back!

I couldn't speak more highly of this place. They make the 5 stars noticeable at every turn, starting with the attentive reception and a fresh juice. Everything in the hotel is spacious and elegant; the central courtyard is a beautiful space to relax. I really appreciated the option to try different pillows, which I hadn't encountered anywhere else on my current trip. The breakfast is also very good. Last but not least, the staff is incredibly friendly.

Everything was perfect, it felt like home, very nice staff and service, calm and cozy feeling, really enjoyed every second… The breakfast was yummy everyday, and the neighborhood is central near Bab Touma, yet a bit hidden, giving it a quiet vibe which was perfect, you could only hear the fountain. Would be staying again for sure

There’s a reason this place has great reviews - it’s one of the most unique, delightful, lovingly crafted hotels I’ve stayed at. Professionally and meticulously cared for and staffed, expect a lovely and safe stay here at this hotel. It’s in a great location with major sites of old Damascus within a walks distance.

This beautifully converted old ottoman house is a real haven in one of my favourite parts of one of my favourite cities. Wonderful rooms round an open courtyard and lovely staff. Loved the breakfast and lots of restaurants in area for dinner. Only thing missing was an espresso machine but I am promised one is coming!

Beit Zafran is everything you could wish for in a hotel. It is aesthetically stunning, from the flower-filled fountain in the central courtyard to the ceilings and wardrobes in the rooms. Even the breakfast is beautiful (and delicious). Every member of the team is kind and responsive. The location is also perfect: right in the Old City, but tucked away in a quiet corner and close enough to Bab Touma that it's easy to get in and out by taxi. Can't recommend highly enough!

The place is georgous: an old house that kept its beauty and has been renovated with taste and all modern comfort. The team is wonderful: professional, dedicated, extremely supportive and never intrusive. It is very well located: in a perfectly calm street, a few minutes walk from the main attractions, in a very safe and animated neighbourhood. I look forward to visiting again!

wonderful hotel, the staff is super helpful and friendly. they gave us advise where to go and took the time to do so. i can’t stress enough to go to this hotel! the breakfast is delicious and they give a lot of options, and the server was really polite. when sitting outside to chill a little cold water was brought to you.

The staff are truly wonderful they are thoughtful and very kind. The hotel is gorgeous, beautiful setting and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean
