Excellent service and close to the ancient city. Was a bit loud at night with other guests using the stairs

In all my years of solo traveling around China and other countries, I’ve never stayed at a homestay quite as enchanting as this one. The cleanliness isn’t just limited to the rooms, the entire place is spotless. The location is perfect for a first-time visit to Dali, just a five-minute walk from the ancient city. Since it’s outside the ancient city, it’s close enough to explore on foot while still allowing easy access to cabs. The amenities were excellent, featuring a Xiaomi smart room ecosystem made my stay even more comfortable. However, what truly stood out was the service. From the moment I arrived, the 三个帅哥 and 美女 running the homestay made me feel incredibly welcome. They offered me an upgrade to the best room available, took the time to propose an itinerary based on my stay duration, introduced me to the adorable homestay pets (two dogs and a cat), and warmly invited me to spend time with them whenever I wanted (a small but meaningful gesture when you’re far from home and solo traveling). Their hospitality extended beyond just conversations and recommendations. As the weather turned cold during my stay, they prepared ginger soup one evening for the guests, which seemed to me a very thoughtful touch. They also offer afternoon tea with waffles, fruit, and flower pastries until 5pm. I’m super grateful for their kindness and service, and I really hope to return in the future :)

Chosed this place for our stay here in Dali and it is really close to Gucheng. The service was great and the room is clean. I really liked the heating pad or blanket for the bed. There’s breakfast and afternoon tea provided for free. People here are really nice and the boss invited us for bbq at night. There’s also a really cute cat called Tangbao. She’s soooo cute and you can play with her in the bar. I will come back next time~~~

this whole stay is so wholesome with warm staff and aesthetic facilities! everyone here is super hospitable and helpful and they treat you like family♥️ location of the place is near the old town too (walking distance). highly recommended 强烈推荐！ they also have 2 dogs if you are dog lover 它们的狗狗也好可爱🐶

Very good service from everyone in the homestay. Room was clean and pretty, location is pretty decent and walkable to Dali old town. Bonus was the 2 very cute dogs in the homestay!

We had a comfortable 5 nights stay here. The place is clean and staffs are friendly. Location is great too as it is located just outside the ancient city in a quiet area.
