This place was perfect. Both the laoban/owner and the staff were so nice and gave plenty of recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and well maintained. Its location cannot be beat—you’re right next to everything without the noise or the tourists. The breakfasts were hearty and filling, and the bikes they have for free use were awesome. Highly recommend biking out to Erhai and even around the farm lands. I would definitely return to Xizhou and would choose to stay here again and again.

Keep in mind these aspects of you consider loft room. Despite of all good reviews, this hotel won't suit needs of every traveler. If you are the one who prefers silence and comfort, this place is not for you. Especially for the loft room. Entrance to the room is located right in reception desk area. When you go in our out of your room, you may see people sitting nearly next to your door. Sense of privacy is compromised. It's like you're leaving public toilet in the lobby of any office area. Not to mention that other guests will be having breakfast right there. Bedroom in the loft has a wooden ceiling bar, and if you're 180 cm and above, you're most likely to hit it with your head if you're are to go downstairs at night. The hand rail on the stairs was wobbly. At Winter it is cold, and there is no conditioner downstairs, heater barely works. But still better than nothing. Heater at bathroom did not work at all. Apart from that, it is a unique place. Super friendly owners. The room has awesome couch to sit on, and large modern TV. The room has plants, and this is something I have never seen after being many years in China. Authentic decoration elements is something to appreciate as well.

Loved the place! Do take note it is slightly further away from the heart of the town so it may be a little quiet to walk back at night. Cars also can’t stop right outside the accoms so you’ll have to lug your luggage for a short distance - cabs may have some difficulty looking for the place. Nonetheless, room looked amazing and comes with heater, bed warmer, hot water, good quality amenities, books available in the room to read. Loved the vibes and it was very peaceful and quiet. Communicated quick questions via WeChat and they were also very responsive.

A had an excellent stay here in what is the best place I have stayed in China. Although there are no English speakers everything worked perfectly using translation apps. All of my questions were answered promptly and I had help with everything I wanted such as directions, places to eat, cycle routes etc. My room was excellent and so comfortable and decorated to a high a standard. It was really lovely. Breakfast was very nice and changed each day. And it was served in the beautiful Chinese courtyard. All of the staff are so happy polite and friendly. The location is perfect quiet and a short walk into the ancient town. It has a real local feel and plenty of places to eat a few minutes away. I used the hotel bikes for a couple of days and highly recommend this as a way to see around the area and the lake. I booked for 2 nights but I stayed for 3 as I felt so relaxed and at home. It is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it for all nationalities.

Excellent location, just a short walk to Xizhou ancient town. A lovely, well preserved traditional building with a picturesque courtyard. Our suite was very spacious, with a separate living room area downstairs. The owners and the lady who works there are very friendly and helpful. The traditional noodle breakfast was delicious, and she also kindly offered us a western breakfast too. Beds are comfortable. There may be a slight issue with drainage in the shower and sound, as it is an older traditional building, but overall it was very peaceful when we stayed. There are free bicycles which guests can use. Would recommend to those staying in Xizhou.

民宿在喜洲古鎮北面邊上，離轉角樓和麥田步行10分鐘左右，是有500年歷史的明代白族老房改造的客棧，典型的白族特色為四合五天井式建築，早餐隔天不同，第一天粥第二天就米線，每兩天一循環，院子裏的茶台可以自行使用，酒店邊上有合作的 停車場，停車很方便

民宿淡季的價格還是很能打的。偏居喜洲的東北角，離主街有一點距離，但也比較安靜。附近就有一個臨時停車場（地圖上是個老年協會還是什麼）住宿可以不收費。有意思在他是古建築改造，院子打理得很好，靜靜得坐一會就很舒服。 然而，古建築改造不能避免的就是居住舒適度會有影響，木質的房間如果不開窗一樓會有一點悶濕的味道，木質地板會高低不平，層高也比較低。改造的時候把馬桶和淋浴放在一起，但是地面找坡沒做好，洗完澡的話馬桶邊會有積水。 現場好像是三個阿姨輪班，借用了冰箱走的時候還特地提醒。早飯的腐乳好像是阿姨自己做的。

民宿非常注重細節，室內設計，室外景觀佈置都顯示出較高水平。屋內的機電設施，床上用品，衞浴潔具讓人使用起來非常方便舒適。喜洲比古城清凈素雅，在這裏住的兩天休息得很好。

四百多年的白族民居，建築非常有特色，在靠近古鎮旁邊的位置，打車方便，去古鎮很近，入住後會幫忙拿行李送到打車點，非常暖心的服務 環境：環境優美舒適，夜晚入住很安靜，在院子裏曬太陽喝茶發呆尤其合適 距離大榕樹不遠，附近有特色的老宅院很多，很喜歡喜洲，可惜時間太短，期待下次再來

酒店小院子很漂亮，特別安靜，酒店也是乾乾淨淨的，工作人員態度也好，幫忙接行李，在大理玩幾天，住的最舒服都一家客棧了，唯一缺點訂的房型沒有電視，性價比很高的一家客棧。

這是一間明朝的老宅改造的民宿，超級有年代感，酒店裡麪很温馨，花園很漂亮，位置就在古鎮裏面，出行方便，房間乾淨衞生，推薦

Hotel muy bien ubicado a poco minutos caminando de la zona antigua y con fácil acceso en coche. Habitación muy limpia y personal muy amable. No hablan inglés pero con traductor todo solucionado. Lo bueno es que estás cerca de todo pero alejado del bullicio de la zona centro.El jardín es hermoso o todo está muy cuidado.

房間佈置和圖片無差別，周邊環境很安靜。小院佈置挺温馨的，小朋友可以在院子玩耍，服務也挺好的
