After searching around, I finally chose this hotel. Really recommend. Firstly, room was as described. We had the two bed and the host helped with luggage. Much appreciated. Spacious and comfortable. Host was very helpful. I needed some sewing services, contacted her late at night and she recommended an excellent seamstress. When informed we ran out of shower soap, she gave us a whole new good quality set. Host helped to arrange transfer to Lijiang and even personally took and waited with us for the coach in the rain. Location of this hotel is great. Food everywhere. It is set back in a small alley so is quiet at night. Minutes walk away from Dali ancient city with gate. Right opposite the fruit market. Room also has a big TV screen and powerful air conditioner. The hot water is immediate and the shower is powerful. There is laundry facilities too. Thank you very much to the host for making our first trip to Dali memorable.

This hotel is very nice, clean and strategic. Besides that, the service is very friendly, even though we use google translater, they are patient in explaining one by one. I highly recommend you to stay at this hotel. They also helped us to rent a car while we were here🥰

Lovely stay with an approachable, helpful host that recommended and helped arrange for us budget friendly, comprehensive tour packages and transport options between 大理 and 丽江. Extremely close to 大理古城, would recommend for anyone travelling to 大理.

Location was great with many food stores right outside the inn. Despite being close to the food stores it was quiet enough for us to get comfortable sleep without being disturbed from the streets. Lady boss is also very friendly, helpful and provided great hospitality, constantly checking if we have our needs all being supplied and even took the extra mile to bring in our clothings as we were out and it was going to rain. Wouldn’t do Dali any differently and would pick this Inn over and over again.

The hotel is beside the south gate of Dali Ancient City.. The boss is helpful, and treat us very well..When we inform that we will be leaving early for our train schedule, she inform us how to check out step by step. The room is very spacious, clean, you can easily used the WIFI without any problem ( it is in English ). The bed is comfortable. Smart facilities. Just 1 flight of stairs to our room. Halal hot pot is within 200 meter from the hotel. Recommended.

The room is in traditional chinese style, very comfortable, clean and fully equipped. The menagers are very kind and helpful. The position of the structure is fantastic!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Dali Jinze Xiaoyuan Inn (Dali Ancient City South Gate), and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The inn’s location is ideal—just a short 5-minute walk from the South Gate of Dali Ancient City, making it extremely convenient for exploring the bustling pedestrian streets and local attractions. Despite being so close to the heart of the city, the inn offers a peaceful and quiet retreat. The rooms were modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I particularly appreciated the intelligent features like the automatic heated toilets, blackout curtains, and sensor night lights. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and there was always plenty of hot water, temperature is just right which added to the comfort after a long day of sightseeing. What really made the stay exceptional was the hospitality of the host and staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my trip was memorable, offering valuable tips on local attractions, dining options, and even helping with transportation arrangements. Their warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. I’ll never forget the relaxing evening spent chatting with the host over a cup of Chinese tea. The inn is also close to a charming vegetable market and a street filled with delicious local food options, which made dining out and picking up fresh produce incredibly easy. Overall, Dali Jinze Xiaoyuan Inn is the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and outstanding service from the host Xiao Liang.

We love the spacious room and smart room system. Everything was great about the stay. They borrowed us a scooter for us to travel around Dali. We faced some issues with the scooter and then went above and beyond to help us with it, making sure that everything went well. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place to stay in Dali!

Disappointed with this homestay as we reached quite late at night be informed that the room type we booked not available as the guest last night extended, we been changed to another SAME PRICE of room which for us are not same as the one we booked is bigger & come with tatami tea area, the one we got is smaller seems to be DOWNGRADED. We back to the room after meal saw there is new guest checking in for the room that we booked...

This is a clean and quiet mini hotel a short walk from the ancient city gates. There are heaps of great restaurants everywhere and even great coffee. There is a fresh food market across the road. The host was very kind and clear about everything, we communicated through wechat which was convenient, she was super responsive. The room was spacious and clean and easy to access 24hrs with a key card. Basically, the accommodation was perfect for my stay in Dali 😊💚

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was perfect — close to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. Breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
