Mengjing Yayuan Hotel (Dali Ancient City)

The hotel was conveniently located right outside the dali ancient town, offering both convenience and tranquility. It was also beautifully decorated and equipped with a lot of amenities such as the pool, a really nice roof garden as well as a mini gym though we did not use them during this trip. The service and hospitality of the staffs were also impeccable. The receptionists were prompt in replies and always available to assist us, be it greeting us and helping us with our luggages or recommendations regarding touring around dali. We were also very grateful for the free room upgrade and were once again impressed by the cleanliness, decor and comfort of the room. The supper was really good as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and will recommend it to anyone coming to dali! :)

We recently stayed at a hotel right outside the 南门of the Ancient City, and its location couldn't have been more convenient. Given how jammed Dali can get, walking was the best option, and this hotel’s location made it incredibly easy to explore the area on foot. The staff here is simply the best I’ve ever encountered. I had many parcels delivered to the hotel before my arrival, and they not only managed all of them seamlessly but also offered to send out additional parcels on my behalf. Despite the hotel being fully booked, they attended to our requests promptly and always with a smile. Their dedication to going above and beyond was truly impressive. The staff also provided excellent recommendations for food and activities nearby, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was fantastic, and the views of 苍山 were amazing. We had a wonderful stay, and we will definitely be back!

We loved the design of the Bai-style building. The room was very clean, and the customer service was perfect and polite. The laundry service was excellent; they helped me with my laundry every time, saving me time and effort. We stayed for 3 nights here and this was one of the best places we've stayed at Yunan 15days.The beds were comfortable, and the location was just a 5-minute walk from the hotel to Dali Ancient Town. Strongly recommend to who plan to Dali.

We had an amazing 3 nights at Mengjing Yayuan Hotel. The hotel is new, comfortable, and located conveniently at the door of Dali Ancient village. The staff were friendly and willingly to help with anything. The service was exceptional. They washed and folded your laundry. The breakfast and the nightly desert soup were delicious. The hotel room is bright and clean. The bathroom is spacious and stocked with plenty of your essentials. The rooftop is a beautiful place for photos. Unlimited supply of free bottle water.

Location is good, close to Dali ancient city. Staff is good as well.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Warm welcome, great room, hearty and delicious breakfast, really good recommandations, amazing view and location, … We were upgraded so our room was even better than what we expected in the first place. 100% would recommend or come back if I’m in Dali. We wouldn’t change anything about this experience.

This is honestly the best hotel in Dali ancient city, perfect terrace, beautiful clean room, excellent location, friendly staff. I stay in Dali twice a year, and this is the first time I stayed in this hotel. It blew my mind.

We from 🇸🇬 Singapore, this hotel service is the best services I receive from all the countries I been travel. The hotel hygiene very good. Hotel staff very kind they will remind me the temperature and weather so I can have well prepared. The location of the hotel is perfect, able view Chang shan and just beside Dali ancient city. Hotel provide delicious breakfast and everyday is different and have many choice to choose. Hotel also provide afternoon tea and dessert. At night the hotel will provide dessert for us too. The hotel also provide feee laundry service just drop the clothes to counter they will do the rest for us. Overall, I wish they have branch in Lijiang so I can stay there again.

The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Very satisfied with our room on the 3rd floor - which has an open area to enjoy the night sky and view of the city. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Main downside was difficulty in finding the hotel entrance. The close proximity to Dali ancient town is very convenient. For some strange reason, aircon vent is directly above the bathtub - which meant baths were mainly in the shower. Recommend Mengjing Yayuan Hotel if great service, well-appointed rooms, and proximity to Dali ancient town are key considerations.
