Mia Dakhla Resort

This was absolutely an amazing place for us! Our main interest was kiteboarding so it's good to know that MIA is too far for walking to the kite area so you'll need a plan, like renting a car, but it's way, way closer than the main city area so if you plan multiple days stay here and don't do a 50 minute drive each way to the kite beach. This wasn't a problem for us because my girlfriend took lessons every day and our instructor picked us up at the resort. Btw, the instructor they recommended was super top-notch! Great recommendation from a really awesome place to relax after your activities.

Great facility, great staff, very friendly and the bungalows were just perfect and clean, however the resort is situated in the middle of nowhere and too expensive as transportation to get out and explore. Yes, I would stay again especially if I just need few days to relax.

What an experience! match none, I have to say that the stuff, house keeping and everything was just mindblowing. Many thanks go to the travel agency Famous transport, the way they arranged everything from scratch was amazing, special thanks go to Said who smoothly fit all our desires ! What a gentil person! I can only summarize my stay at Selina as HORRIBLE, this SCAM should be removed from Booking, it is the worst accommodation I have ever been in my life. The hotel was DIRTY in general, the room had not been cleaned, the light did not work, the bed was full of sand, the shower full of hair, there was no gel or toilet paper and everything was full of flies. It took several hours to give us a new room. The common areas were full of sand, the hammocks and cushions very dirty and the tables full of dirty dishes that took hours to pick up and full of flies. Breakfast and dinner were VERY BAD, and there was hardly any food for the guests, neither cutlery, the glasses were all dirty, we ordered food from the menu and they told us that we could only order one dish from the entire menu and it also took more than one hour to serve. For personal reasons we had to leave 3 days earlier than planned but they charged us for the entire stay. We have claimed our money incessantly, but they do not give us a clear answer, we know that most of the guests LEFT the hotel due to the conditions.

Location good. Service terrible. The hotel lacks any kind of managment I can see. Staff nice but inattentive. Have to search out people to take your food order and then wait ages. Frustrating and disapointing. Selina brand if you are reading this - spend the money and invest in a decent manager - you can’t run a hotel from afar. Apart from poor restaurant service - the little chalets aren’t cleaned everyday so you end up with loads of sand in the room by the end of your stay. You’ve just opened but get your house in order cause staying here you need to be on valium 100% of the time - which sort of defeats the object of going on vacation.
