Good points: ample parking, hot shower, comfy bed, quiet,clean room, very fast wi-fi, plenty of electrical sockets. Not so good points: the room was very cold – possibly because we didn’t work out how to control the radiator; the bedside lamp was dim and impossible to read by; no breakfast provided. We would recommend the adjacent village shop which also serves food, including breakfast.

We stayed in Room 5 at The Greyhound for nearly a week whilst having building work at our home. It’s a lovely front facing room, large and spacious! Despite being at the front on the road, it was surprisingly quiet! Beautifully decorated with some original features. Separate entrance so didn’t have to go through the pub if we didn’t want to. The pub staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The menu for evening meal was large and varied - the food delicious!!! They don’t serve breakfast at the pub but there is a lovely community shop/cafe behind it which did lovely breakfast choices. Would definitely stay again!

Emailed Harry the manager for assistance with a soft drinks pricelist and was told that there is no price list available. I feel that trading standards need to pay a visit as this is a legal requirement. As a customer I was very disappointed that there was no price list available for drinks, just food when I made a visit in August 2023. I ordered my two children two bottle green elderflower juice and was charged £8! No receipt offered as the lady serving walked away with card reader. I will not be returning as pricing is not transparent.
