The food is outstanding, i loved the breakfast featuring local Cusco bread and avocado on the side - a simple but memorable start to the day. I had a stomach bug when I arrived and the chef went above and beyond to make a chicken soup for me, which was not on the the menu. The serene courtyard is perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, and the on-site spa offers Andean-inspired treatments to unwind after a day of exploration. For those wanting to connect with Cusco’s cultural heritage in an elegant and comfortable setting, Inkaterra La Casona is an unforgettable retreat. Cusco is such an incredible city and La Casona is situated in one of the most charming plazas. 🧡

We stayed here for two nights, and it it was so lovely. Every detail of the service, amenities, food, and decor was the best we could have imagined. The staff were so thoughtful, and we were continually surprised by their kindness. When you stay here you’ll notice all the extra touches that make this hotel so magical.

What a beautiful stay at La Casona. The room are just a breath taking as the pictures. Staff was amazing helpful and welcoming. Only had breakfast in resturant which was very good. Location is great and walking distance to the center square and many place to shop and eat. We both got a massage which was an out of body experience. After all our travel we needed a little release and we got it for sure!! Enjoy your stay!!

In July 2024, my family and I had a wonderful stay at Inkaterra La Casona. The historic charm of this beautifully preserved colonial mansion made our visit truly special. The service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was outstanding, featuring delicious local dishes prepared with great care. Inkaterra La Casona offers a perfect blend of history, luxury, and top-notch hospitality. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cusco!

We stayed in Inkaterra La Casona for three nights. Its location is perfect, close to all the main sites worth visiting. Our room (number 11) was very beautiful and practical. But above all the staff were extraordinarily helpful, dealing with every request instantly and with a smile (including asking for oxygen late at night to alleviate altitude sickness, and receiving it within a couple of minutes). Breakfasts in the very characterful dining room were excellent, and again with marvellous friendly service. We would have no hesitation in recommending this very special hotel.

Very nice little hotel in Cusco. Well located for Cusco main square and good for everyone doing day trips in and out. Only 11 rooms so small and personal. Few points that could be improved - bins in room not emptied for three days. Should be done daily. We were given 2 single beds as a married couple and only on night 4 did we get a double bed. There is no reception in hotel, so no one to really ask to improve things. Hence why took days to get things sorted. Finally if on square side it is very noisy at night. Not the hotels fault and normal for Cusco.

We stayed here two nights and were very happy. This is a boutique hotel in a nice square , less than 10 minutes on foot from the main square in Cusco and shopping and restaurants. The rooms are large and comfortable and elegantly appointed, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. A very old building which has a new life as a hotel. The internal design is really good. All the staff are excellent. Always happy to help. Most speak good English. The rooms are dark inside as they tend to have small windows. Housekeeping is not how it should be. They forgot to put shampoo and shower gel in our room. A dressing gown from a previous guest was left hanging in the wardrobe. An excellent location to explore the area.

This was part of a trip planned in 2020 and postponed three times, so I had paid for the hotel long ago. We stayed at three separate Inkaterra properties, and it's hard to say which was the favorite. La Casona is a strong contender. Beautiful renovated house near Plaza De Armas with traditional Spanish colonial architecture. Small number of guests: maybe 15 rooms? Lovely inner courtyard, carved wooden doors and balconies, and a history of famous occupants (Simon Bolivar). The service was impeccable. Our bathroom was amazing: the same size as our bedroom, with huge soaking tub, two vanities, enormous shower, lots of white marble. We inadvertently stumbled upon the Feast of Corpus Christi, so really enjoyed the spectacle right outside the hotel front door and of course just down the street at the Cathedral. Restaurant only serves guests, very intimate with lovely ambiance and delicious food. Also enjoyed afternoon tea with hot chocolate! Highly recommend.
