Katari at Plaza de Armas Cusco

The location is unbeatable. However, the rest leaveals a lot to be desired. We have booked a superior room and the carpet was extremely dirty. The towels were frayed (should have been changed years back), the AC was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep with it. When I have asked for shampoo, I was told to use the shower gel provided. Breakfast is ok (basic). I would recommend for location only.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. I informed them that I was coming with my wife to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. The hotel is perfectly in the Plaza de Armas ADN close to everything. They surprised us by placing roses on our bed and making our experience wonderful. Thank you. Their breakfast which is complementary is one of the best in Cusco I have experienced!!

Perfect hotel for our family! Awesome staff, delicious food, excellent customer service, and a perfect location (Next to the main plaza, shops, restaurants and more) I couldn’t be more happy with my experience at Katari. They were always kind, helpful and polite to all our requests and questions. Having my family of 5 with 3 kids, one a baby 18 months old. My experience was awesome Marilia helped me to accommodate everything for my baby (such as the crib with clean sheets and covers) and also she helped me with all accommodation for my other two kids. I’m very happy with my stay there. We made such great memories in Cusco because we were very comfortable and safe. Thank you so much to Marilia we really appreciate all your help. I highly recommend this hotel. Trust me you won’t regret it.

Amazing location - right on the city center Plaza de Armas - Its one of the closest hotel just a few steps away from all the happening markets and eateries and one can just walk out and watch the world of Cusco pass by. I had an amazing stay here before and after my Machu Picchu trip - Rooms are BIG, Clean and well kept as compared to what I have seen at other places.. Staff is polite and the Bfast spread is great too - suited very well for my solo trip and I would come back here without a second thought.

As a family of 6, our room was perfect! Great room size and very comfortable. The location was perfect and a quick 2 minute walk to the plaza and restaurants. Breakfast made to order free and excellent staff

Don’t be fooled by the location. Although it’s in a great spot, the hotel itself is AWFUL. We arrived to our room with stains on the carpet, mold/mildew in the shower, the toilet making noise. The walls are paper thin and people coming and going through out the night making noise. The internet wouldn’t work in the room and the manager at the front desk said that it was our phones not working, not his internet, even though all 4 of us didn’t have any connection in either room. We only stayed the night and left immediately in the morning for another hotel. BE AWARE

Good location but most importantly, Nohely, Maribel and Percy are so helpful and made our short stay really comfortable. And they even arranged the taxi and kept our bags overnight when we check-out. And they respond to our messages and emails really fast when we informed them that our flights got delayed.

We booked Katari at Plaza de Armas because it’s the perfect location to catch the Inti Raymi festival that takes place annually on June 24. Our flight got delayed and we arrived early morning of the 24th instead of the planned 23rd but the team still arranged our airport pickup, allowed us to use the room to take a shower and have breakfast. Nohely and the rest of the staff at Katari were really kind and helpful and made our first day in Cusco warm and memorable!

Ho soggiornato al Katari Plaza de Armas per diversi giorni. La location è suggestiva, nell'antica via inca Intikijllu, oggi Calle Loreto. L'attuale edificio è stato edificato all'epoca della conquista sull'antico sito Aqllawasi. Il soggiorno è stato perfetto, tornerei qui a occhi chiusi. Una nota di merito speciale a tutto il personale: Marilia, Daniel, Maribel, Jennifer, Erwin. Professionali e gentilissimi, sono la risorsa in più di questo hotel storico. Tupananchiskama!
