Culloden House Hotel

Just awful. The place looks picturesque from the outside and our superior room was large. But there the good stuff ends. The public rooms are decorated like a care home for the elderly, I never knew there were so many shades of beige. The bedrooms are old, and not quaint historic old but like decrepit old, their sanitary ware was new in the 1980's and mostly about works, and that's the best part. You expect this from a budget B&B or motel. Dinner consisted of very small portions from a very small menu and lacked imagination. So much so that I had to go back and check the website to see if I was staying in the right hotel. Breakfast was OK but you have to put up with the intrusive, faux-quaint humour of the maitre'D. I can't be bothered to write any more to be honest, that's the level of inspiration this place has given me. If this doesn't put you off staying there, then give it a go, but, as we say in Scotland, "Yer wer telt!"

Staying here was a great experience. The staff is impeccable, the home and grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful. Attention to detail here is unsurpassed. The food is wonderful. I really can't say enough to let you know how amazing this place is. If you get the chance to become a resident for a few days jump at it. Hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in for service and space! All staff were attentive and friendly and could not have been more helpful. Clearly staff love their job and pride themselves on meeting guests every need. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We would definitely visit again.
