Wonderful stay as usual lovely staff who anlways make you feel welcome .The food is amazing especially the steaks.. Everything is consistently good whenever we stay. The view from our room was spectacular and always feels like coming home when we come back to Criccieth come rain or shine.

We had a super stay, our Executive Room was clean, well appointed and had a super bay view. We dined in the restaurant one night where we found the food to be excellent. The breakfast was first class with a varied choice to suit most tastes. The only small complaint was the orange juice which had a very weird flavour.

I think the Caewylan is outstanding. A smart hotel which feels like home is quite an achievement, The staff are caring and yet professional The food is delicious The situation is convenient and the views superb. The rooms are spotlessly clean.

We stayed for one night as we were visiting my brother in a care home. We were amazed at the standards of this hotel, staff, food, room, the hotel itself ,decor all in good order. Ok the parking is lacking but the staff told us what to do and it was fine The evening meal was perfect and I unfortunately am a fussy eater, the breakfast a full English was just that, full. A pot of tea in Welsh looking pot for me and poached eggs and coffee for my wife all served by caring and attentive staff. We begrudgingly left this hotel to drive home. This was our first stay in a hotel in the UK for many a year and wow what a surprise. These package holiday hotels could learn a lot from this hotel. A big thank you to all at the Caerlwylan hotel ,you helped us enjoy our visit to see my poorly brother.

I have been using hotels in the course of my business for 36 years. I can honestly say this is one of the best I have ever stayed in. You may ask Why? Simply because of the top quality staff, who are so friendly with service that is second to none. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food is excellent, particularly the breakfast. One draw back for me that breakfast doesn’t start until 8am, which makes it a little difficult for being able to get to work on time. I look forward to staying again.

We stayed for 5 nights in July and had a great time. On a stormy night the sea is wonderfully deafening, the view from room 18 is incredible, the chairs in the bay window sumptuous. The small lift is quirky and fun, the bar well stocked, dinner in the restaurant traditional, the breakfast nicely cooked and hot, the staff helpful and friendly. Two small roads before the beach but the window and seats are so perfect that you don’t see them. For a change in the evening try Dylan’s or BWYTY 51 but book first. However, if you live away from the sea but love it, sit in the window or on the comfy bed and look straight out all day.

I stayed at the Caerwylan for a couple of nights during the July heatwave. The hotel is in a great location on the seafront with views across Tremadog Bay to the mountains of Eryri National Park in one direction and Criccieth Castle in the other. My single room was at the back overlooking the railway line, but considering the reasonable price of the room, that was fine with me, and I was able to sit in the bar or garden to appreciate the view. I ate in the restaurant both nights, the food was good and the staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great too. Lovely to be able to step outside after dinner and stroll along the esplanade. It seemed like many other guests were regulars - I might just become a regular too! Highly recommend

As a family of 4 adults, we had 2 rooms and stayed for 2 nights. Both rooms were very comfortable (unfortunately for my wife and I, our daughters nabbed the one with a sea view). We ate at the Tonnau restaurant on both nights. The choice on the menu and the quality of food were rated as excellent by all of us. The breakfast menu is extensive and again superbly cooked. The bar closed at 10.30pm which we thought was a little early, especially on a beautiful warm evening, but not a problem. We paid for parking and had a space for both nights. Friendly, helpful staff. We would look to stay here again, the next time that we are in the area.

My wife and I have been staying here most years since 2010. Why do we keep returning? A room that is spacious and well appointed, with sea view, and where one can listen to waves pounding beach 24/7. Friendly, efficient, helpful, professional staff. A good restaurant. Ideal situation for exploring the peninsula, Snowdonia, Caernarfon etc. additionally, this hotel is exceptional value for money. We’ll keep coming.
