Discovery Parks - Cradle Mountain

We managed to do early check-in before official time. However, we realised the cottage was not clean at all as rubbish wasn't cleared, floors not vacuumed & towels left hanging around, likely by previous guests. So we had to return to reception to feedback & they immediately got housekeeping to do the job. Reception staff could do better with more smiles though. Cottage was quite roomy for 2 pax, but could be a bit tight if 4 pax were to stay together. Pretty basic accommodation but it was strategically located near Cradle Mountain visitor centre. Overall, a unique experience to stay in a mountain cottage like this, just that free WiFi was only available at reception & not in the cottage itself.

Good basic value for money accommodation in backpacker’s shack. Shared amenities (toilets, showers and kitchen were cleaned daily.) Lovely location in the woods close to Cradle Mountain National Park.

Great little park. Very clean cabin, cosy bed. It has everything you need for a short stay on Cradle Mountain.

Economy room perfect for a small family. Double bed plus bunk. Kitchen was right next door. Bathroom was fairly close. Everything fairly clean. Very convenient walking distance from visitor centre/shuttle buses.

We are greatly surprised with the cleanliness, new and trendy design with the interior. Comfortable beds. We would definitely book again in our next trip.

Good location. We can walk to Cradle visitor center. There was wifi at checkin area but not available in cabin. The cabin was small with full kitchenette and heater in living room. We arrived after 5 pm. The office already closed but we can take key from checkin box. Recommend to stay here if going to Cradle mountain.
