Agata hotel is located in a very cozy area of the city with walking distance to most attractions. The hotel has a high standard in general and the service level is very good. All the staff, from the reception to the cleaning lady to the chef, are very eager to help and to make your stay special. Thank you!

This small hotel is lovely and the staff could not have been more helpful. We stayed for six nights and the room was very pleasant, with a balcony. The breakfast was served in the morning up until 11.30. We mostly ate on the lovely roof terrace and the breakfast was wonderful. The location of the hotel is excellent - very close to Frieda Kahlo's Blue House. There are lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby. All the staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help with enquiries and onward travel arrangements. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly stay here again.

This tiny hotel is so personal you feel you are staying at a friend’s beautiful home. Just four rooms, and lovely public spaces. The included breakfast, with loads of choice for each course, is delicious and so generous. The staff is excellent, but I must give a shout-out to wonderful Mariana. She actually walked us outside the hotel to make sure we understood the walking route, and she texted me during the day when she thought of an even better idea for our dinner - and of course made our reservations. Staying in Coyoacán is perfect for easy access to Frida and Diego’s home museums (yes, after a deep immersion we are indeed on first name basis). We walked to San Angel to visit the mercado sabado and just loved how everything is just a walk away from the hotel.

Ximena was a great host and the hotel Is fantastic. Great value for money and age also helped us obtain tickets for the Frida Kahlo museum. The hotel is very well kept, with a nice courtyard featuring a mural painting. The breakfast is very good. All in all a great stay.

I travel a lot for work and spend a lot of time in hotels, and I was taken aback by the thoughtful, personalized experience Agata and its staff offered. Ivan and Fernanda were kind and attentive. They included hand-written notes with our evening tea and were quick to ensure every need was attended to. The breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed the spa. The hotel itself is lovely and well situated in the Coyoacan neighborhood, which feels a bit like a small town vs a neighborhood in a large metropolis. I highly recommend Agata if you are visiting CDMX.

A place you wouldn't believe exists, due to it is hidden in that back of a beautiful house in the heart of Coyoacán. I strongly recommend you to spend some days in here and enjoy all the attractions that Coyoacán offers you. The service is excellent. Fernanda and Bernardo really gave us a great welcome and a personal service. The food ir great as well!! All in charge of the cheff Valeria. The breakfast was amazing.

I recently stayed at the Agata as a solo traveler. I was a bit worried about traveling by myself and was not sure where to stay in huge sprawling Mexico City! I somehow stumbled on the Agata and could not have been happier! I LOVED my beautiful room with the marble bathroom. The Agata is an original Mexican house that has been completely re-modeled on the inside. It is very charming with a small courtyard, a deck, and art sprinkled throughout. Ivan at the front desk is wonderful and SO helpful with tips on where to eat and how to get around. Also, the kitchen staff make a wonderful two course breakfast every morning. I got to try some great Mexican food to get me started every day. I loved my stay so much that I am already planning a "pleasure" trip to Mexico City so that I can stay at the Agata again!

Excellent location close to the heart of Coyoacan, very good service, always concerned about the guest, from the first day to the last. very comfortable rooms and exquisite breakfast. Nice staff, very warm people.

Ivan was super helpful from loaning me an umbrella to bringing hot tea every night. It is a true 5 star with beautiful robes, spa features, modern decor with lovely art on the wall and super luxurious bedding, Nespresso coffee, black out curtains, no noise, full length mirror, fresh flowers, and a nice bathroom. At another twice as expensive hotel I had no hot water and no amenities, so the Agata is an unusual gem. I am a senior woman traveling alone and felt extremely safe. The location is walking distance to the lovely town square with a nice, safe, artisanal Mercado. This hotel is perfection!
