Brought some vouchers from price is wight. We all had the mighty bap, which contains the following, bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown .. tasty ingredients, nicely presented. Really good value at 8.95.. Staff snd venue spot on. Ate our brunch. outside looking at the sea, thinking how lucky we are to live on the IOW.

We had Sunday Roast at Woodvale, the staff were really busy but helpful and attentive. Where we sat in the bar we could see there were lots of regular Customers. Our table had a fabulous view across the Solent. We both had roast pork loin with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and vegetables Our meal was good, well presented and tasty. For dessert we had sticky toffee pudding. Very happy with our visit, thank you to all the staff, well done, Gary & Alison.

Saturday eve dinner with the family, over Christmas. Looks like an updated menu. The faggots were excellent and everyone else said their dinners were very good too. Friendly, efficient service. Well stocked bar. My only criticism is that it was way too cold. People were wearing scarves and coats. Heating was off and no roaring open fire. A big turn off for me I'm afraid Looking forward to a summer visit so I can enjoy the spectacular view, one of the best places to view a sunset on the IOW without being cold

We were pleasantly surprised by what this hotel has to offer: very helpful, welcoming and friendly staff, nice rooms, surprisingly quiet location, close to access to the beach and walking path, good views of the sea... a good restaurant, excellent breakfast.

Friendly and efficient welcome. Stayed for two nights over the weekend. The room was comfortable and absolutely spotless with lovely toiletries, bottled water, a tea tray including biscuits included. Breakfast had a wonderful choice and was delicious. We ate in the restaurant and the food was exceptional. I would recommend booking a table because it was understandably busy. Will definitely return and recommend.

Stayed here for a couple of nights, rooms nice and clean views absolutely stunning! Dinner was fabulous and the breakfast was the best I’ve had yet! Lovely produce and cooked to order!! Breakfast gentlemen Big guy very professional and the breakfast was cooked perfectly! Will definitely be back! Parking not great when busy though but that’s the trouble with having a beautiful Hotel/pub in this location

Lovely place, stunning location and views. However our experience was ruined by one particular barmaid who overcharged for two drinks and also embarrassed a young waitress by telling her off in front of customers. Very unprofessional behaviour on her part.

We popped in for some food and drink whilst out and about in Cowes/Gurnard. Pub was busy but we got a table no problem. Didn’t have to wait too long for food. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Meals were a good size and the food was absolutely delicious. Really delicious! Would definitely recommend and hope to return. (And when the weather is nice there is lots of lovely outside space!)

We had a great 3 night B&B at The Woodvale in Gurnard. The pub has great views over the Solent and is only a minute from the beach at Gurnard. Accommodation is clean and thoughtfully presented. Even the tea boat had decaf tea and coffee. Food and drink is very good indeed and the breakfast is superb. Call Nathan the Manager directly to get the best rate.
